Commercial Description:
The first thing you notice when pouring a glass of this seasonal beer is the color. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest has a rich, deep golden amber hue which itself is reflective of the season. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest is a malt lover's dream, masterfully blending together four roasts of barley to create a delicious harmony of sweet flavors including caramel and toffee. The beer is kept from being overly sweet by the elegant bitterness imparted by the German Noble hops. Samuel Adams® Octoberfest provides a wonderful transition from the lighter beers of summer to the winter's heartier brews.

I really enjoy this beer. A nice, caramel taste is present. A good brew after raking leaves on a crisp, October day.

Poured from the bottle with a nice off-white head. It had a malty aroma and taste, with a peculiar sour taste in the finish (see previous rating). I normally am not a big fan of Oktoberfest beers, but I think Sam made a good one here.

My first seasonal beer, I didn’t know quite what to expect. The beer i very pretty nice dark orange color, and a quite different and refreshing taste, good job.

Even though this beer isn’t really my style, I give it a thumbs up. Good quality beer.

Very Nice OctoberFest. Sweet Caramel nose, very nice amber color with a small off-white head. Sweet malty start with a slight bitter tang in the finish. Overall a decent bottled OctoberFest.

Better than brooklyn octoberfest but there is room for improvement. Awesome ruby red/deep amber color with decent head which fades after about 5-10 min. COuld have better hops and maltiness in the aroma, and flavor could be improved, but still nice overall.
