3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle pours a deep red brown with a disappearing tan head. Aroma of toasted chocolate malt with hits o caramel an the faint aroma of a ginger snap. Taste of smooth chocolate malt that leads into a faint orange then ginger snap spice that does not linger long. Light body with low carbonation. Overall very smooth mostly balanced beer with a touch of seasonal spirit that does not over do it.

Bottle in winter variety pack. Pours to a deep red with a beige head that never fully dissipates and laces the glass. The scent is light. You can smell hints of malt and some spices. The beer is the epitome of ’medium bodied,’ with present malts, spices, and fruits. Maybe a bit watery, though the spices will stick with you well after the beer is finished. All in all, it’s a very drinkable - and enjoyable holiday offering.

Samuel Adam’s Old Fezziwig Ale is different. It was okay but not something I would want to drink everyday

The label is festive for the winter holiday! Dark auburn color and with dark chocolate taste! I will drink more simply to benefit my cardiovascular health from the dark chocolate!

This one poured a dark brown with a with a spicy aroma. Had a lot of spice with a gingerbread like flavor and mildly bitter aftertaste. Great brew for a cold winter night.
