3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Wiszard (19) - Derry, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 4, 2012Pours from the bottle a deep brown with a long lasting tan head. Good carbonation. Good aroma and taste, although I can’t sense the ingredients listed. It’s a great beer to savor and enjoy.

Almost a brown and amber color mix. Slight tan head. Smells like malt and slight barley. The flavor is a little weird, malty but hints of cherries and plum maybe even a little orange. Sweet lively mouth feel. Nice winter ale.

Bottle. This is like drinking Christmas... the type you experience at the mall. Its a little overwhelming, loud, and at times baffling but we all do it once a year.

Poured from a chilled bottle into a glass. Caramel color with little to no head. Sweet aroma with a pleasant taste.

Pours clear reddish amber with a medium beige creamy head that dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is faint with caramel, toffee, orange zest and spice notes. Flavor is the same, quite spicy; cinamon, ginger, nutmeg, toffee. Light sweet, light zesty bitterness, a bit metallic on the far finish. Medium body, bubbly carbonation. Not a bad effort
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Fredis23 (137) - Hickory Hills, Illinois, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Dark Reddish Brown, Medium Head, Some Lacing. Medium Body, Sweet Caramel, Some Light Spice Aftertaste, Sweet Creamy Malt Finish. Decent Brew but not exactly what expected from Commercial Description. PR department might have gone a little overboard describing this one with "dancing and celebration BS". Thinner than described. Same goes for taste, it is not bursting your taste buds as sharp as they wish it describing their brew. Overall: Good.

A - Pours a deep amber clear brown with a 2 finger khaki head that retains excellent. Great spiderweb lacing.
S - Spicy gingerbread, caramel malts, nutmeg, cinnamon, raisins,
T - Caramel/toffee slightly toasted, some metal notes, butterscotch, citrus hides in the background, caramelized brown sugar coats the mouth, cinnamon and nutmeg are there but aren’t pronounced.
M - Medium body, slick feel.
A solid easy drinking winter warmer. Very good looking brew. Nothing spectacular flavor wise but goes down easy.

I like this quite a bit more than the Winter beer and some of the other seasonal offerings. It’s got a little bite from the ginger and cinnamon that’s nicely balanced by the malt profile that gives way to toffee, caramel and some roasted chocolate notes. I look forward to this one each year.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 UncleKorm (287) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 5, 2013
Bottle poured a dark brown cola hue w/ a medium off-white and nice lacing. Better than moderate aromas of cinnamon, caramel, orange, toffee and spices. Initial flavor is moderate sweet with a faint bitter of short duration. Tastes are brown sugar, toffee, caramel, orange peel, cinnamon, ginger, cocoa, and vanilla. Medium bodied and mild carbonation.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 trujahwarrior (284) - Monroe, Washington, USA - APR 3, 2013
Pours a dark brown copper color with a medium off white head that leaves decent lacing. Smells of cinnamon, caramel, orange, toffee a few other spices. Tastes of all the same things in the smell with a slight cookie flavor. Mouthfeel is oily and chewy with medium carbonation. Overall this is a really tasty winter seasonal, it has a lot of flavors integrated in it and is very complex. Really enjoyed it and wish it was available longer.
