Pours orange with a one-finger head. Light caramel malt and decidedly English hops in the aroma. More of the same in the flavor. Not bad, but the Boston Lager is more flavorful, for some odd reason.

Sep 23, 2008 This is a tasty beer, but not as good as the Boston Ale and, despite the categories given each beer here, this is more like a golden ale to me and much less like a real English pale ale. It is pale amber with a fairly big, off-white head, steadily shrinking to a thin top with some lace. The smell is bread, grain, leafy and citrusy hints, a little fruit, and pine. Overall, this is pretty nice. The taste is light grain, hay, citrus, bread, with hints of pine. It’s nice, clean, crisp, and verydrinkable.

Sep 18, 2008 Pours a clear golden color with almost no head. Not much in the aromas and the flavors are rather tart and hoppy. Probably will never have this one again, at least not willingly. They could have done a much better job and blew it, I feel
