Commercial Description:
This distinctive and refreshing American ale is brewed in the classic style, with traditional brewing, the finest English ale hops, and lightly roasted specialty malts. Hand-selected Fuggles and East Kent Goldings hops impart a crisp dry finish to this flavorful authentic ale. Jim Koch

A hazy orange beer with a small biege head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit especially peach. The flavor is sweet with a very bitter hoppy dry end. But the body is thin.

Bottled. Golden colour, small head. Aroma of peach and citric hops, but after that crystal malt flavour takes over and dominates completely. Medium bodied with medium bitterness. Too one dimensional.

Bottle. Clear golden coloured with a white head. Aroma of malts, fruits and hops with notes of grape fruits. Flavour of fruits and hops with notes of pine needles. Not a great pale ale.
