afireinside96 (361), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 30, 2008 bottle. I didn’t have a chance to pour this one out. flavor was fairly bland and unobtrusive. no flavors stand out too much. unoffensive and unexciting.
Brewmaster1 (9), Westchester, USA does not count Aug 6, 2008 Very smooth beer. It went down great. Great color and aroma. I will definitely buy more of this beer in the future, and I can’t say that about all varieties of sam adams. ratman197 (2214), Arvada, Colorado, USA Aug 4, 2008 Bottle poured a clear tarnished gold with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of carmel, biscuit and fruittiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, bread and a hint of fruittiness with a crisp moderatly bitter finish. WakeandBake (12), Greenville, Michigan, USA Aug 3, 2008 Pours a light gold, looks nice. Nose of citrus, and hops. A very light crisp beer with kind of a watery mouth feel, light citrus, and malt flavor, finishes with a very nice dry hop taste. A nice beer for those hot summer days. Underhook (76), Lincoln Park, New Jersey, USA Aug 1, 2008 Pours a shadowy yellow with a thick, foamy head that leaves a cloudy lacing down the glass. Smell erupts from the glass- citrusy, strongly beerish, but I think I detect a little skunk. Looks very fizzy. First taste... Not skunky at all. Actually very good- not nearly as fizzy as it looks, very malty with some hop presence detectable. Finishes with a burst of light citrus and leaves a hoppy aftertaste. Really surprising, I didn’t expect all that much from the beer but it delivered, well balanced despite some of the other reviews here. Might not be your cup of tea but it’s a must try. Pershing (19), Garland, TX, Texas, USA Jul 31, 2008 Medium yellow with a tall white head. The East Kent Goldings hops stand out. One of their better varieties. I wished they sold it in six packs.
