Samuel Adams is currently in the process of brewing up a German style called ďradler.Ē The name radler translates to ďcyclist,Ē A 50/50 (ish) blend of beer and lemonade. (Like a shandy). Perfect for any summer day, Samuel Adamsģ Porch Rocker was inspired by traditional Bavarian Radlers that mix beer with German-style lemonade. For our bright and citrusy Radler, we blended a Helles beer with lemon for a fresh-squeezed lemon taste, effervescent sweetness, and slightly tart, refreshing finish. A light malt character and hint of hops balance out this summer brew.

The aroma is dominated by a strong sour lemony smell. There perhaps is a bit a wheat smell behind it. The color is pale straw with some lacing. It is strong in the lemon taste department. The lemon taste is dominate over everything else the brew may present. If lemon is what you want, this is it. If not, you may want to pass on. For me, itís okay.

Aroma of an Arnold Palmer, amber color no head. Taste like a lemon shandy with no real palate. Would be nice on a hot summers day.

Pretty lousy. Taste to strongly of lemonade. Could probably drink this on an 100 degree day floating in a pool but other than that i pass.

Lemon pledge and a little spice in the aroma. Light, sweet flavor with a bitter citrus finish. Iím a bigger fan of Boston Beer than a lot of people on this board, but Iím not defending this one.

Bottle. Pours pale yellow with thin white head. Both aroma and flavor overpowered by lemon. Not much to say about this one, if you like the style you will like it and if not you wonít. I donít particularly like the style but itís okay, the so called lawn mower beer. If I was looking for one of these citrus beers, Iíd probably just get Bud light lime for less money as I donít see much difference other than this one is slightly less sweet.

Bottle. Golden yellow with small foamy white head, lemon aroma, high carbonation, tasting lemon and a hint of hops, longish finish with lemon zest aftertaste. Would be good in the heat of the summer, especially if itís ice cold.

A solid summer beer. Does not taste artificial which is a bonus. Pours golden with a decent head, lemon aroma. The lemon taste hits you at first taste very refreshing finishing with a refreshing malt. This is a Radler(50/50) although I never wouldíve guessed had I not read it

Bottle pour. Clear golden with decent head. Slight lemon aroma. Light body goes down easy. Taste lemony, but has a strong sour aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
