COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams is currently in the process of brewing up a German style called “radler.” The name radler translates to “cyclist,” A 50/50 (ish) blend of beer and lemonade. (Like a shandy). Perfect for any summer day, Samuel Adams® Porch Rocker was inspired by traditional Bavarian Radlers that mix beer with German-style lemonade. For our bright and citrusy Radler, we blended a Helles beer with lemon for a fresh-squeezed lemon taste, effervescent sweetness, and slightly tart, refreshing finish. A light malt character and hint of hops balance out this summer brew.

Clear light gold, short head, slight lace. Mostly a sweet lemonade aroma. Smooth mild slick, sweet lemonade taste, some bready orange with a foamy sweetish finish and tangy citrus. It is a 50/50 lemonade/beer but maybe more on the sweet lemonade side overall. It is good.

This beer has a very light color and a light taste that gives you a feel of taking another sip before you even finish the sip you just took. I really like the fragrance of this beer, it hits you as your nose enters the mug as you tip to sip. I get a nice citrus flaver in my mouth after each and every sip I take. Love it! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle - Pours golden yellow; white head. Aroma of bread and citrus. Simple flavors of sour bread and lemonade.. at least that’s what I got out of it. Somewhat refreshing... Needs something...like boiled crawfish to go with.

Bottle at home, from Beers of Summer Variety Pack. Clear yellow pour, virtually no head retained. Aroma is lemon and wheat. Taste follows suit. Nice lemony finish with a bit of hops. Not cloying. No complexity at all, but I could drink about a dozen of these.

Pours light golden with minimal head. The aroma is sweet with lemon zest pervading. The taste follows suit. Nothing outlandish and very refreshing but its nothing special

Aroma of wheaty beer and lemonade. Taste is the same. Pretty refreshing but its hard to drink more than half of one.

Uh, a Radler at 4.5%? Fresh bottle best by Sept. Big lemonade nose, cloying and fruity, pours bright clear golden with a big fizzy white head. Taste is very sweet but not overwhelming, there’s a tendency toward artificial sweetener but that problem is soon overcome by Sammy’s proprietary bready finish. Spritzy and tart, lemony light body, not watery or offensive. Not incredibly beery, but they’ve done well here!
