COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams is currently in the process of brewing up a German style called “radler.” The name radler translates to “cyclist,” A 50/50 (ish) blend of beer and lemonade. (Like a shandy). Perfect for any summer day, Samuel Adams® Porch Rocker was inspired by traditional Bavarian Radlers that mix beer with German-style lemonade. For our bright and citrusy Radler, we blended a Helles beer with lemon for a fresh-squeezed lemon taste, effervescent sweetness, and slightly tart, refreshing finish. A light malt character and hint of hops balance out this summer brew.

Whatever a "Radler" is, I don’t think Samuel Adams captured the style all too authentically with Porch Rocker. To me, it’s more like a Shandy with a twist.

Bottle. Clear yellow gold with a white head. Aroma is lemony as is the flavor, but more like artificial flavori.g then lemon zest.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2016 Clear gold little head. Hint of corn aroma. Lemon flavor, a bit soda like and lemon doesn’t come off as lemonade well. Not to my liking.

Delicious and refreshing. Light and doesn’t leave an aftertaste. Will continue to enjoy as long as Sam Adams brews it

Six pack picked up at my local grocery, enjoyed right out of the bottle. Light and crisp body, light lemon juice, mostly sweet, it’s like lemonade with light grains and mild booze.

A Radlerthat seems like it just sort of misses the mark. It’s tart and sweet, but other than that there’s nothing that really stands out. Tastes like a beer with a lot of lemon flavor added to it. Meh.

Clear Golden, Large Head, Lots of Thin Lacing. Faint Citrus Aroma. Starts Out Slightly Sweet Finishes Lemon Sour. Sweetness and Lemon overshadows all of Beer Qualities. While I like Shandies, Radlers Taste a little different, and I’m not a real fan. Might Be OK for what it is but I’ll pass it Next time...

Bottle off the Brook Falls singles rack. No bottle dates on this one. As much like a wine cooler as anything. sweet, lightly fruity. not much in the way of body. 11.6

Not sure that I like lemonade with my beer, but it is a good balance of both. Maybe good for a hot summer day? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 Fl. Oz. Golden, clear, with a small white head, no lacing. Aroma of lemons, malts and biscuits. The taste is certainly consistent, lemon is predominant. Refreshing and quite decent on a warm summer day but not great.

Light brassy pour. Fizzy full white head. Almost no lacing. Nose is lemon candy, touch of pale malt. Very light mouthfeel. First sip is lots of lemonade, faint noble hop, followed by bready malt. Not bad for what it is.
