Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

Pours tan with a thin head. Velvet thick initial taste with a mild very mild hop taste. Finishes with a mild floral hop taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Amber pour with egg white head. Aroma is piney hops and fruity hops. Taste is piney hops upfront, followed by the fruity hops. Nice malt base. Hop flavor doesn’t linger long. Nice lacing.

Bottle. Fairly ordinary IPA aroma. Crystal clear dark gold body with a thin white head with nice lacing. Sporadic bubbles stick to the glass. Nice flavor that seemingly mixes salty with sweet. Some notes that remind me of Victory Prima Pils. A really nice beer that is enough unlike the Boston Lager to make it an alternatively good decision.

Amber color with white head. Citrusy. Hoppy without too much bitterness, good balance with the malts.

Pours a nice amber color with white head. Lots of grapefruit and citrus on the nose with just a little pine and grass; follows onto the palate. Very light and refreshing. Finishes crisp and clean.

A nice tastey IPA. Good citrus aroma and flavors. Has a bitter dry hoppy finish. Tends to rough up the taste buds more that I like.

Tap. Golden amber pour with a decent head that fades normally and leaves some nice webbing. Aromas are citrus and pine hops with a hint of bready malt. Tastes citrusy with a hint of malty sweetness. Sharp, zesty finish with some pine. Decent IPA but nothing particularly intersting about it.

This is a pretty tasty IPA. On the dry side and honestly reminds me of the hoppier pilsners like Prima Pils despite not being a pilsner hop bill.

Pours a sharp and clean sharp gold with two fingers of tight white head. The nose shows some soft fruity notes and some citrus rind with a subtle grassy character. Shows a bitterness that I find to be a bit of a turn off. Kind of sharp and astringent with some citrus rind.

Location: Draft at Richmond Arms, 4/2/14

Aroma: This one has a nose of orange, grapefruit, pine/resin, and a little caramel
Appearance: It pours a clear copper color with an off-white head and average lace
Flavor: The flavor is similar, decent hop presence, with a clean malt backing
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth feel, a soft carbonation, and a light dry finish
Overall Impression: This is pretty solid. I don’t really have a lot more to say beyond that, but this one is plenty solid.
