COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light pine hop with a good amount of grass and a touch of light grain. Flavor is similar with a nice grass note and some light pine that is supported by a grain backbone.

Below average run of the mill IPA. Aroma was burnt malt and not much else. Pour was a burnt orange with a one finger off white head. Taste was all burnt malt with notes of hay, dry grass and a little lemon. Very malt forward and nowhere near a "west coast style IPA". Nice carbonation but subpar beer.

12-pack from W&M Mansfield. pours out a very clear light golden color. Light white head that settles to a thin lace. Aroma and flavor of burnt rubber and grassy herbs. Some sweetness to balance. Not terrible, perhaps a tad better than Latitude 48. I would have this often if readily available.

On tap at Dan's on February 07. The pour is a clear gold, with minimal trace amounts of head and almost no lace. The aroma is definitely hoppy. Nice and grassy with a citrusy dominance in the back end. The flavor is meh. starts off hoppy and then just takes on somewhat of an irony, lager-ish property. It's definitely got a metallic aftertaste, and the mouth feel is really thin. The flavors don't linger worth a damn. It's not bad, but it's not great ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Toreys in Owatonna MN. Nice surprise. Poured tall glass with good head. Smell is light with hops evident, but not overwhelmed. Taste is weak at first, but comes through with a good clean and surprisingly light finish. A good starting IPA, better than I expected honestly. It isn’t a two hearted, but is a solid IPA.

12 oz bottle. Pours deep golden with long lasting white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, caramel and pale malt and oranges. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Citrusy hops, pale malt and caramel combine on the palate. Finish is long and grapefruity. Ok IPA.

On tap @ Chuck’s CD. Been waiting to try this one... Pours bright clear golden with creamy white head. Aroma is minimal malt and some flowery hops. Taste is sorta murky pale malt and crisply bitter hops, though not much flavor. Definitely more hop dominant than a standard Sam Adams IPA. All the brewhaha with Lagunitas aside, this is an ok beer. Nothing notable, just ok. Hopefully this can gain broader distro so more people can be exposed to "West Coast" style IPAs.

Bottle. Tangerine malt and light peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet tangerine/lime malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Very nice.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2014 12 oz bottle This is a good looking IPA. The ale poured a clear amber color with a white frothy head and lacing. The aroma of light citrus hops maybe a hint of pine. The taste was more complex with flavors of the multiple hops. The IPA has a light body with average carbonation. This is a nice IPA to introduce you to this style of ale. The finish was smooth with lingering clean bitterness of resin hops.
