3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. A fairly mild aroma with hints of citrus. The taste didn’t live up to the deScription. The hops were weak and and not as prominent as I hoped. There wasn’t much malt backbone either. It was drinkable but unremarkable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rigtig fin IPA. Tyndt hvidt skum. Klar gylden farve. Tydelig humle med masser af friskhed, citrus og sommer. Overraskende god.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap in a pint glass: Pours golden with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus, resin, and caramel. Taste is the same Sam Adams slightly metallic water with a solid amount of hops, light grapefruit notes, resin, and malt sweetness. Decent beer.

Ljus och rätt klar. Vanlig ipa med lite fruktighet och en okej beska. Någon bismak som stör.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 12 Dec 2015) Golden amber colour with dense, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, grass and crystal malt. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, peaches, canned fruit and a finish with a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, but a bit unbalanced. Still, quite nice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from the Dodgy Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford. Consumed at home Friday 22nd January 2016 Hazy warm gold with a slim white head, a little honey, quite slick in the mouth, a little bit of Werthers Original, the hops are there but a little restrained and beaten back by the sweetness. 2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz bottle from Kroger in Westerville, Ohio. Samuel Adams Rebel IPA is a medium amber slightly hazy beer. Head is one finger odd off white foam. Aroma is mildly evergreen with some malt. Taste is an odd earthy malt foremost. Hints of hops. Not quite sure what this is. Body medium and chewy. Not a good ipa. Not exactly pleasurable as a beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours golden orange and slight;y hazy. Smells of orange and mild pine. Taste is mellow bitter with slight citrussy flavour. Hops are not huge but still evident. Better than expected but could do with more bitterness.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured into a perfect pint. Bottle.
3.25 A: Clear light orange color. Two fingers of frothy white head. Retention is a touch below average and a short ring of lacing is left.
3.0 S: This wasn’t what I was expecting. It’s surprisingly bready with a cracker component to it. When I think of "west coast IPA" I think more clean malt profile. Hops are a hodgepodge of herbal, grapefruity citrus, and grassy. There’s hints of some musky cat aroma in there as well.
3.25 T: Taste is pretty similar to nose. Mild bitterness. Musty feline flavors with a hefty herbal component. Grassy and citrusy hops underneath. The taste is more cracker and less bready than the nose though.
3.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Light creaminess and super smooth.
3.25 D: It’s not a bad beer, but it’s not what I was expecting. If I went in thinking this was a pale ale instead of a "west coast IPA" I probably would have been more satisfied. Either way, it drinks easy.
