Poured from bottle into snifter...a crystal clear yellow gold with light white head. Actually smells, looks, and sounds like it's going to be decent. It's got that ready west coast taste, a little lifeless but ok taste with an ok ABV. Not bad, particularly for a Sammy.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear golden color with a sudsy, white head. Poor head retention. Grapefruit, lemon zest, and creamy cereal on the nose. Slightly scrubby mouthfeel progressively astringent. Citrus with some cream undertones. Pine bitterness. A decent effort at a west coast IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Really good and a great example of the west coast style IPA. Strong citrus and pine notes in the aroma. Orange and copper color with a good head. Light and carbonated, which added to the bitterness effect. Bold hoppy flavors up front that had hints of grapefruit. Support from a slightly sweet malt background with a somewhat dry finish. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from 12oz bottle - purchased a 6 pack fresh, but saved the last one for the review.
Aroma - Not as pungent as I remember, my own fault for waiting to review
Appearance - Very clear golden color. Very nice.
Taste - Typical "west coast style" - slap of hops - pretty decent.
Palate - Nice lingering taste - plenty of bubbles
Overall - A beer that I enjoyed - and would have again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
6 pack picked up by my awesome wife. Pours a clear copper, white head, loads of lace. Nose is quite obviously sweet malt, and juicy tropical citrus hops. Same as the nose, sweet caramel malt backbone, citrus hops, a little numbing bitterness. Decent.

16oz can poured into a shaker glass.
Clear light golden color with a nice, white and steady head, good retention and lacing.
Piney nose, forest, sweet malt, some citrus peel, onion, and faint tropical notes.
Juicy hop flavor, pine, ripe citrus, light caramel malt, medium bitterness, faint marmalade.
Medium body, not very dry, could be fresher, but quite enjoyable. Cool.
