COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

Another example of Sam Adams rolling out good brews This is one of the few IPAs I actually like! It didn’t have the overly hoppy finish like most of them do.

Bought in Iceland. Relatively close to expiration. Could be fresher. Taste is fine but nothing special.

Slightly hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt and some earthy hops. Taste starts malty, slightly sweet but the hops come along in the middletaste with earthy, grassy, piney notes. Medium with smooth mouthfeel and good carbonation. Although it’s not fresh, it’s a quite good, old school style IPA.

Dorée, limpide, petit collet persistant, belle dentelle. Aromes assez leger, ananas roti, caramel. Corps moyen, bonne presence en bouche, longueur importante avec une amertume mesurée sur le resineux.

Amber-brown with a thick head, light fruity hop aromas with a hint of caramel. Citrus and pine notes over a light toffee malt base. Jolly decent, and rather more-ish.

355ml Bottle from Morrisons supermarket (£1.50):
A nice Samuel Adams beer, certainly a lot better than the Shepherd Neame brewed Blonde Ambition that also called itself a Samuel Adams beer. This was my first IPA from the Boston Beer Company & it a fresh, hoppy & bitter with some nice citrus & tropical fruit flavours that helped the beer go down easily. There was some nice caramel & sweet malts that came through from the middle onwards & balanced things out nicely, a solid offering & one that I’d be happy to have again.
