Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

Pours to a gold, almost brown color. leaves a medium-ish, off white colored head, leaves medium sud lines. The aroma is of floral, citrus and pine. Tastes of citrus/pine, leaving a strong lingering citrus aftertaste. I would absolutely have again. Hope they continue it and its not just a seasonal brew!!

(bottle - 12 oz) Golden pour with a thick white head. Citrus and fruity aroma with some peppery hops and very mild resin. Flavor is the same pretty much. Light citrus blending with a mild bitter middle and a lightly bitter finish.

Bottle from Halles St-Jean. Aroma: caramel, citrus, grapefruit, a tad piney, herbacy and grassy a bit. App: Clear copper, minimal white head, some shy lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, light sweetness, fizzy, grassy a bit, light to medium bitter finish. Overall: Was expecting so much more from this beer. It’s good but there are so many better West Coast IPA out there.

On tap at Brothers Beer Bistro (Ottawa, ON). Golden body with a thin white creamy/frothy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with bready and citrusy hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries piney and citrusy notes. Ends with a decent bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle pour. Clear golden with a decent foamy white head. Very light aroma of citrus and bubblegum. Light body. Light salty and bitter taste. Very drinkable, but not a lot going on.

Pours a clear goleen with a super thin white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of light citrus and not that expressive. Some resin and alcohol as well. Taste is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Flavors of caramel, fruits and citrus. Body is medium and carbonation light to medium. A little earthy hops in the finish. Overall an OK IPA, not the flashy kind.
