COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

Pours to a gold, almost brown color. leaves a medium-ish, off white colored head, leaves medium sud lines. The aroma is of floral, citrus and pine. Tastes of citrus/pine, leaving a strong lingering citrus aftertaste. I would absolutely have again. Hope they continue it and its not just a seasonal brew!!

Bottle, 6.5%. The aroma starts off with a caramelly touch, but there is a deeper, more concentrated raisin, tea, and alcohol note underneath. Greyish golden colour, seems clear. Good stable white head. The flavour starts off quite bitter, also with some alcohol bitterness. Then comes a distinct tea or coriander note, and later more alcohol and light caramel. Good bitterness to balance albeit a tad astringent. Along the lines of a double IPA, but without as much alcohol.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of citrus and hops, with estery and fruity hints. Intense, bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of grass and round, sweetish touches of malt and fruit. Estery and acidic aftertaste with malty and hoppy hints. Decent.

33 cl. bottle at home. Medium high fluffy white head. Clear amber golden body. Bitter sweet, more sweet though, fruity aroma. Nicely hopped flavor but the sweetness and the fruityness of the beer prevail. Lemon, grapefruit and a dry pine note. Low carbonation. Long dry and bitter finish. Alcohol level seems just right.

12oz bottles sampled months and weeks before bbAUG2016, BierH. - Bodacious caramalt orange pour. Rose petals, wet pine, flower stalks and fruit caramels (banana, tangerine jam) in aroma. Mainly damply fruit-resinous, slightly spent citrus oils and dry caramels in taste, with the mouthfeel being distinctly chewy and smooth. No real evolation or engineered layering of flavours, but fine as a large batch supermarket IPA.
