COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

Very easy drinking IPA. Not hoppy enough for the true hop heads out there, but I found it refreshing. If you're looking to drink a lot of beer at one sitting but still want something different, this is for you.

Poured from 12 oz bottle a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of cereal malts, floral notes, oranges, and pineapple. Flavour is dry malt base, some hop bitterness, and some light fruit esters. Also can taste brown sugary maltiness with bits of earth and citrus. Medium body and low carbonation. Middle of the road, nothing special.

Decent west coast style ipa, fruity nose, but nice bitter kick on the finish

Espuma presente e persistente, aroma de lúpulo e leve fragrância frutada e de ervas. Gosto segue aroma mas com lúpulo presente e não tão amargo. Excelente cerveja

bottle shared with minderbinder - a courtesy of duchesse’s boss - thanks! pours hazy pale golden with a creamy off-white cap, nicely lacing the plastic cup. light fruity caramel maltiness, citrus - mint and dill, soft resin and pine, grass too, other fruitiness - spicy oranges provided by c hops, spicy pie with its doughy and candied maltiness, clean yeast. light carbonation, light body - oily; balanced and smooth peppery-spicy-citrusy finish. pretty decent old-school ipa.

Bottle. Golden, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, light caramel and light tropical/floral fruitiness and light bread, some grapefruit - citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, light caramel and tropical fruitiness, light - some grapefruit - citrus hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel, light tropical/floral fruitiness, light metal, some grapefruit - citrus hoppyness. Sweetish IPA with caramel. Really nothing special.

Had this on tap at Stinky’s a while ago. Pours a clear copper orange. White head. Aromas of citrusy hops. Light pine. Pretty on point for the style. Great accessible and affordable ipa.

Filtered golden body with a rapidly settling thin white cap. Visible tiny carbonation bubbles. Aromas are very mild and faint. Slightly vegetal hops, and sweet cracker malts. Tastes are similar with some pineapple on the swallow. I generally like my IPAs to be far more of a punch in the face, but if I was looking for a session beer, this one would fit the bill nicely. Quite quaffable.

Bottle (355 ml) bought @ La Barik. Best before March 2016, so I guess this is 1 month old now. It’s kind of weird to have a BB date 1 year after the bottling considering it’s an IPA.

Appearance: Clear golden-orange with a medium easy to revive white head and some lacing.

Aroma: Not the burst of aromatic hops you expect from a "West Coast IPA" (it’s advertised as such), but an enjoyable aroma nonetheless with delicate citrusy hops, caramel, earthy/mineral notes and mild leafy hops presence.

Taste: Slightly sweet with grapefruits, moderate caramel presence, light toasted notes, resinous presence, mineral/earthy notes and moderate bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Moderately dry. Moderately lasting grapefruits and resinous aftertaste.

Overall: If you expect a massive hop bomb (which wouldn’t be crazy since the beer is advertised as a West Coast IPA) you will be extremely disappointed but this is a super easy drinking and well balanced IPA. The malts are quite present, but never makes the beer heavy. I liked it.
