COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

Bottle pour. Clear golden with a decent foamy white head. Very light aroma of citrus and bubblegum. Light body. Light salty and bitter taste. Very drinkable, but not a lot going on.

Pours a clear goleen with a super thin white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of light citrus and not that expressive. Some resin and alcohol as well. Taste is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Flavors of caramel, fruits and citrus. Body is medium and carbonation light to medium. A little earthy hops in the finish. Overall an OK IPA, not the flashy kind.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a malt and citrus mix with a good bit of hops tossed in. Appearance- A murky amber color with an off-white medium sized head. Taste- Has a nice malt flavor that joins nicely with the citrus.. Has a real good hop finale. Palate- A light to medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Overall- A really good IPA that stands out among many of its competitors.

355 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear golden orange with good-sized white-ish head with good retention. Aroma is fairly soapy with resin, citrus and bubblegum. Flavour is more tropical fruit forward, with some spicy pine resin and grass. Dry finish. Good.

12 ounce bottle. Brassy gold color. Big bubbly beige head. Pine and soapy hop nose. Flavor is sweet caramel malt and more pine hops. Mid taste brings a touch of sweet agave syrup and peppery hops. A decent interpretation of the West Coast IPA style.

Clear amber beer with a minimal head. Aroma is sweet bubblegummy fruits and hops, a bit floral. Fair amount of sweet maltiness and grassy notes. Taste is more malts than hops, sweet caramel, a bit of fruitiness, peach, pineapple. Body is medium minus, co2 higher than medium, fizzy. Finishes quick and not that bitter. Disappointing, but I really wasn't expecting this to be anything special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Citrus is very faint, pine is more up front, but is also quite faint. Strong spicy, grassy presence in the flavour, and a light to medium bitterness. I expected much more from the description. This is nothing but a run of the mill mildly hoppy amber ale.

Pour from a 12oz bottle at Wahoo’s Fish Tacos. It was on special for $2.50, which is ok for this beer. Lots of juicy hops, big and malty finish (certainly not like a west coast ipa). Not too bad.

Rebel IPA pours a lovely burnt orange color but is a bit hazy. The head is a finger and a half of off white creaminess but dissipates quickly. It does leave a lot of lacing behind. The smell is a very inviting mix of tropical fruit and a touch of malty sweetness. The taste is resinous and semisweet. Bitterness is pleasant but not overwhelming. The tropical nature of the nose is there but a bit muted. Nothing off. The palate is nice. It goes down easy and feels light even though it isn?t. Long dry finish. I would definitely have more of these. I would call this a win for Sam Adams. Excellent IPA for the price.
