COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tempo. Thanks Avrashi. Clear gold, white head. Faint fruit, old hops aroma. Light bitterness and old hops in the mouth, medium body, easy to drink, bitter finish.

12oz bottle, straight from it. Aroma is grapefruit, hop. Flavor is lemony, grapefruit, grass, moderately hoppy. Kind of a nice departure from the super palate destroyers lately. Not a bad offering considering it’s Sam Adams.

On tap at Chevys, Lake Buena Vista. Lovely clear amber colour, with a fine foamy white head. Fantastic peach and melon aroma, soft creamy palate, some hop oil, with light pine. Really loved this and in a tourist trap Mexican restaurant too!

Pour from the Phoenix Bar and Grille at Hoboken Terminal, NJ. Light orange/copper brown with a light white head. Moderate amount of hops and caramel in the aroma. Citrus, hope light pine. I think it needs more hops but it is overall serviceable. Might be a good way to introduce someone to IPAs as it is not nearly as bitter as some others?

From tap pours a clear yellow with white head. Aroma was all earthy hops. Taste was this, very bitter with not enough malt to balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft, appears dark orange with a white head and leaves good lacing throughout. Aroma is muted, light citrus hops, caramel and biscuit malts underneath. Taste is muted as well, I get some of the bitter hops and citrus notes but they at not in your face as I expect from a "west coast" IPA, just seems to be lacking in substance, but its drinkable and I guess that counts for something, wouldn’t buy again.

Draught. This is a nice little simple ipa without much to set it apart from the pack. A west coast Sam Adams. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thin white foam head with minimal retention a clear amber body. Some lacing. Aromas of pale malts, wheat, some biscuit, and grapefruit, pineapple for citrus which is mild. Where are the west coast hop aromas? the sweetness is very muted as is the citrus. You can tell there is some candy citrus mostly tangerine here but it’s understated, and its quite astringent. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Overall it seems overly simple and plain. Not even close to an west coast ipa.

Bottle at Barrels, Gamla Stan. Pours amber with a big head. Quite malty IPA with some orange and apricot marmalade.
