Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

I had completely avoided buying this beer, I happened to be at a bar in which a sample was opened and I was offered a taste. I honestly think this is terrible. A sad attempt at a West Coast IPA. Totally out of balance, in the worst way possible. The smell is better than the taste. As my beer warmed, the smell turned to hops mixed with urine. I don’t know what the hell they did to this thing, but it isn’t good. The taste is hoppy with some malt, but it completely falls short. I tasted this against a Stone IPA, and guess what? Stone blew it away. Wow. Just a shit beer.

Smells divine starts off with a nice yeasty Brady no followed up by a hobby citrus tropical fruit note great. Taste is divine flushes your tongue full of water followed up by citrus notes and tropical fruits with a hoppy resin at the end. Lingers on your tongue is long enough to enjoy it. Do not like the color too watery looking has a slight slight orange yellow color. All-in-all Sam Adams has gone downhill wish they would start producing variety packs again with 6 different Brews. Used to be one of my favorite New England brew companies has fallen short in the last 2 years you guys need to step it up nice bro keep them coming.

Bottle at Lisbeer, Portugal. Color is gold. Medium white head. Medium bittermess. Aroma is light hops, fruits, herby. Pretty straightforward.

Dorada, casi limpia, no mucha espuma blanca.

Frisk amerikahumle i doft men beskan tar över i smaken. Helt ok

Flaska i new york. Ljust bärnstensfärgad med vitt skum. Fruktig doft med citrustoner. Aningar av te i smaken och lite fruktighet.

Smells of grapefruit and pepper; tastes like pine, citrus and honey got together to party like it’s 1999. Course, it’s 2015 now. Nicely carbonated.

Me ha gustado bastante aunque no sea muy aromática. Cierto regustillo al final como a mosto. Maltosa con un toque dulce. Interesante. Volveré a meterla en mi gaznate ;)

Clear golden with minimal white head. Aroma is fruity and hoppy. Taste adds grapefruit and pine. West coast hops make it real. A decent commercial ale.

Overall really nice. A great aroma, really good appearance. A quite odd but not bad at all taste. Very hoppy and a strong flavor of grapefruit. Good job Sam.

Keg pour from Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival. Aroma is herbs and light corn chip. Appearance is crystal clear golden yellow, nice effervescence, foamy white head with decent lacing. Taste is a bit of corn, moderate bitterness, herbs. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, lively carbonation. Overall, a pretty decent IPA.
