COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

Bright gold, transparent color, with small white head that diminishes quickly leaving minimal lacing. Aroma has faint grapefruit hops and is a little musty. Flavor has bitter, resinous hops, light grapefruit, corn and bubble gum. It’s okay overall, but feel it’d be better priced around $8 a 6pk for it’s average quality compared to others.

Pours a small amount frothy head but doesn’t stick around very long. Has a clear golden appearance. Lacing is ok, a bit weak. Aromas of light earthy and citrus hops, as well as bready malts. Flavours are mostly hoppy, citrus and earthy hops, bready and light yeasty notes. Average retention, medium bodied mouthfeel.

Poured from bottle, hazy amber with low off white head. Aroma with notes of fruit, caramel and pine. Taste is bitter with a medium body and a slightly bitter finish. Notes of caramel, fruit and some resin. Very smooth and subtle, more of an East Coast IPA in my opinion.

355 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden with a thick, resilient white head. Aroma is grapefruit, floral, very malty. Flavor is grapefruit, orange, lemon, pale malt. Finish is grapefruit, citrus, floral. Lingering light bitterness. Medium bdy, soft mouthfeel and average carbonation. Great by its simplicity and efficiency.

Aroma is caramel, sweet malts, lemon grass, grapefruit and apricot. Taste is subtle and smooth sweet malts with light pine needle tanin and slight apricot. Transitions it citrus and earthy hops that are balanced altogether quite well. Appearance is a clear gold body with a medium pearl head that retains fairly well.

matbli (104) - Poznań, POLAND - APR 21, 2015
Bottle 330 ml, pours clear golden with almost immediatly falling white head. Light aroma of flowers, grapefruits and honey. Taste is a little bit flat but good balanced with light sweetness and medium bitterness. Taste could be more intensive for this abv.

CelticBrew (912) - The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA - APR 18, 2015
Poured from 12 oz bottle a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of cereal malts, floral notes, oranges, and pineapple. Flavour is dry malt base, some hop bitterness, and some light fruit esters. Also can taste brown sugary maltiness with bits of earth and citrus. Medium body and low carbonation. Middle of the road, nothing special.
