On tap, pours a cloudy blond with a decent white head. Nice herb and citrus aroma. The beer itself seems a little thin, but it is easily drinkable. Some citrus to the flavor, decent kolsch.

Pours a hazy pumpkin-amber with a white head. Active, fast carbonation. On the nose, a good amount of citrus (lemon and orange peel), mellow herbs, maybe some mint?, and some sweet spice (perhaps cinnamon?). Light-medium body with good carbonation makes it drinkable in nice weather. On the palate, refreshing citrus, and more exotic spice (coriander, black pepper) than on the nose. Overall, quite a refreshing beer. Its complexity is clearly from cogeners rather than grain and hops, but it’s not too in-your-face artificial and overpowering. A nice beer for a summer day.

Tap at Dempseys: Golden with a dense white head. Nose has some rotted fruit skin notes with a marmalade sweetness. Velvety feel with a ripe apple, fruity sweetness followed by that typical Sam Adams grainy malt character. Pretty boring.

Well this beer should be better than it is. Cloudy and blond with a light colored head. Has some hints of lemon and a tart weird finish. Not the best of beers.

Barely drinkable, hazy lite golden pour with descent sized white froathy head. Aroma of lite hop, grassy earthy dirt flavors and aroma. Too much of that earthy taste combined with an over zealous lemon zest to it.

Draught at Foley’s NY (Manhattan - NY).
Blond clearly color with light fizz bronze reflex. Light and rather fine head. Fresh even if rather light aroma with flowery rumors and dampen wood. Sweetish taste with aromas of clear dry grape, mildew and stum. Much "young" and with enunciates notes of leavens.

A mild to light body with a fresh and light hoppy aroma. A wheaty taste with a springy mix.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2007 12 oz, best by date notch: June. Slightly cloudy, golden-apple cider appearance, with large white, lasting head that leave somes foamy lace. Aroma is corn lagerish with some cereal (rye ?), yeast, coriander and a citrus hint. Taste is dry rye, with some hops and citrus, but overall fairly neutral. Slight wheat aftertaste is nice. Palate is light, but very nice for a spring seasonal trying to take over some of the industrial session-pilsner market. Good choice when Fudd and Duff occupy 4 of 5 taps.

Outside of the SA winter ale, probably my favorite of the seasonal brew. Has a nice hoppy flavor that is not as harsh as the winter brew but not as sweet as the summer. A nice brew
