Hazy gold beer, good ivory coloured head. Softish palate. Semi dry malt, quite strong. Only a trace amount of hops here and a tiny dash of bubblegum ester. Okay but a bit wishy washy.

Draught
Golden color, poor head, served in an icy glass (sic!). Poor aroma and flavor, have to wait a lot to find a light note of malt. And the final as well is not interesting.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2003 Light golden. Husky malt aroma, some fresh apple, hints of grass, wheat. Light pale malt notes, some grass. Sweetish (~18 IBUS), slightly honeyish finish.

Well this beer should be better than it is. Cloudy and blond with a light colored head. Has some hints of lemon and a tart weird finish. Not the best of beers.

Pours almost apricot in the glass with good citrus aroma emanating from the head. Taste is light citrus and grass. Rated 2/3/2000

Pours pale straw, with good head. Aroma of citrus, malt, and some hops. Tastes citrusy, with a smooth finish.

Dogbrick (7586) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 1, 2002
A little on the weak side, even for a Kolsch. I was expecting something with a little more character. Gold color with a thin and quickly disspating head and lively carbonation. A little on the bland side but not too bad for spring/summer fare. I could take it or leave it the rest of the year.

Pours almost yellow with a thin splash of bubbles. Smells grapey with some pilsner like malt qualities. Tastes lemony with some nutty elements present.

Ernest (6143) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 14, 2003
Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, cookie), trace hops (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.

Not sure where I had this, but it’s definitely down in my notes. Average, not bad, but nothing special.
