scent of fermented leaves and mildew. taste is typical light ale with some aged hops. finishes quite clean. fairly boring beer

Single bottle purchased from Zyn Liqour in Calgary, AB on 06/09/2012. Colour: Mustard yellow and slightly cloudy with healthy sized creamy white head. Nose: Mixed bag of light grains and some dried fruit....like plums. Flutter of wet soil. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium sour. Raw barley, very light citrus fruit, distant vanilla cream. Very drinkable and good presence of natural grain.

Big foamy white head, dissipated quickly. Straw in color, tiny bubbles all over. An earthy light nose, a hint of caramel, some subdued floral tones and a hint of berries. A lively palate, finishes up crisp and clean.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a medium white top and good lacing. Aroma is citrusy and straw. Taste bright and citrusy, small malt in the background. I don’t find this much of a Kolsch, not enough of a malt profile and way too citrusy. Nice on a warm spring day.

Hazy yellow pour with small white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus and touch of hops. Taste of wheat, grass, citus and slight hops on the finish. Decent carbonation and mouthfeel.

Pours a cloudy pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma of grass, slight spice, and butter. Light body with good carbonation. Hop spice dominates a low malt flavor. Spice fades into a light malt finish.

On tap in a shaker. Pours golden/amber with a thin, white head. Aroma of light malts, citrus, and some floral hops. Flavor about the same, blends well to make a refreshing beer. Average texture. An ok beer.
