Replaced by the White Ale. Crisp and very refreshing just as the White. A nice balance of the hops and spices. Very good but vey shrt lives The Summer Ale is out before you know it (early April). No complaints here!

Jul 9, 2008 Pours a light color, slightly hazy, chardonnay like. Head is fizzily but not long lasting. Aroma is fresh, grassy, lemon and wheat. Taste is very mild, a little fresh cut grass and lemon floating in oatmeal soda water. Not my idea of a good time. I just realized I am disappointed by nearly every spring ale I drink.

does not count  Jun 25, 2008 One of my favorite BBC varietals and I was sad to see it shelved. It was clean and refreshing, perfect for the warmer days of spring. Here’s hoping they bring it back. Cheers!

May 2, 2008 A thin head and faint hoppy aroma are tipoffs to the weak flavor. Not much to recommend here.

Apr 21, 2008 Pours a light golden color into the mug, with a light frothy head, nice little fruity aroma, bready malt background. I hate to be a style nazi, but this far pails in comparison to what a kolsch should taste like. It is very very light, and so far very few of their beers are really true to style.
