aspeese (18), Dallas, Texas, USA May 9, 2008 Nice aroma of lemon and a refreshing beer. Not what I expected from Sam Adams but overall an OK beer dmtroyer (259), Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA May 7, 2008 12oz. Mine poured clear yellow, the bottle said it would be hazy... if that is hazy what is a true hefeweizen? aroma is lemon, bubblegum, banana. Body flavors follow suit with some clove added in the mix. A bit of creaminess coats the palate. Absolutely ridiculous carbonation keeps this refreshing and the head atop the beer but this is pretty thin overall. bconger (16), augusta, Georgia, USA May 6, 2008 Bottle. Thick, sudsy, white head with surprising lacing. Hazy and straw-colored. Aromas of lemon and wheat. Crisp, citrusy, winey notes on the palate. Clean, peppery finish. A nice sit-on-the-porch beer. ajm (210), USA May 6, 2008 I mean, whatever. If the only place to drink is the Texas Roadhouse down the road from the Crown Royal in Unioin City, CA, dig right in. dlihcsnatas (13), Texas, USA May 6, 2008 An easy drinking brew that has the flavor of a wheat ale but for some reason is very clear. The flavors of the wheat and lemon peels are there but I am not sure what the grains of paradise offer since I have never tasted them before. There is a bit of a dry bitterness that picks at the toungue that could be the result of this grains of paradise but again I am not sure of that. Still this is a good pick for Summer.
