COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams® Summer Ale is an American wheat ale. This summer seasonal uses malted wheat, lemon zest and Grains of Paradise, a rare pepper from Africa first used as a brewing spice in the 13th century, to create a crisp taste, spicy flavor and medium body. The ale fermentation imparts a background tropical fruit note reminiscent of mangos and peaches. All of these flavors come together to create a thirst quenching, clean finishing beer perfect for those warm summer days.

12 oz bottle poured at my brother’s house in Methuen, MA. Pours a hazy golden with no head; not as cloudy as many other wheat beers i’ve had. Smells of lemon and a touch of pepper. Taste is mostly peppery. Not great but drinkable.

First taste is lemons then the next thing that comes out is tequila. Crisp and refreshing summer ale probable wouldn’t get it again.

Poured from can golden honey with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus wheat and malt. Taste is somewhat thin and needs something to brighten it up as it has a lingering spice tone.
