Nice red color with a big creamy head. Aroma is citrus and sweet. Pretty sweet flavor with some roast in there. The finish is grapefruit and lingers for quite a while. Mouth feel is almost syrupy. A sugary taste comes out a bit after a few drinks. Nice lacing in the glass.

This is a really unique brew. Burnt dark cherry and a very slight oakiness paired with fermented apricot and bitter hops.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good stuff. Deep hazy amber, tons of lacing in the creamy tan head. Aroma and flavors are a nice balanced mix of toffee and breaded malts, nice earthy hop finish drying out the mouth. Very nice beer!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reddish copper with a huge amount of frothy tannish red head. Aroma is dominated by hoppy citrus fruits and grapefruit. A bit of roasted caramel is present though only slightly. The taste is dominated by bitter hops but finishes with a bit of a malty sweet ending. Overall a very drinkable ipa

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draught on the brewery tour at Samuel Adams. Pours a mostly clear reddish brown, more red than brown actually, with a moderate linen white head. Mild aroma of roasted malt with some mild grapefruit notes. The flavor is lightly roasted malt and caramel followed by some gentle grapefruit hops bitterness. This is an easy going IPA with a solid malt base and some citrusy hops. There are probably pale ales out there that are more hoppy than this beer is, but get over it already. This is a nice solid beer that I enjoyed while on the tour.

Bottle. Pours a clear, deep copper color with a nice lacing head. Light hoppy aroma with some caramel and brown sugar in the background. Sweet malt as well. Light hoppy flavor with a hint of malt. No tart but slightly sweet. Interesting type of IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Itís not bad and is very drinkable, but itís nothing special. Pours a brownish red with a creamy and frothy beige head that quickly dissipates leaving some moderate lacing. Aroma is caramel and malt and then you get some of the hops on the end. Taste is much the same. Bread, toffee, caramel, malt and then some citrus from the hops. Not overly bitter, but also not overly flavorful. Got it in a Hopology Mixed 12-pack.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle from hopology mix pack. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head that recedes to a splotchy film. The aroma is moderate in strength with citrus and sweetened grains. The taste is a bitter hop forward amber ale with some citrus and pine set in a victory malt base. The palate is full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes long and dry with a bit of astringency. Overall: I was kind of surprised to see that I had not yet rated this as Iíve been drinking the hell out of it. A good dry garage beer.
