Cable (285), SE, Oklahoma, USA Aug 3, 2006 Sampled frm bottle. Pours cloudy dark yellow with a creamy white head. Its aroma strong lemon. Too strong - almost like a household cleaner. Flavor resembles a lemon-honey cough drop. Not nice. Interesting, but still a must pass.
markwise (257), Orlando, Florida, USA Aug 18, 2008 This was a decent beer, but man it was ugly. Lots of gloppy mess with yeast sediment and what I thought were ginger pieces. It has a strong ginger aroma with a taste like slightly fizzy ginger tea. Sweet in flavor and finish. Lots of sweet ginger. Respectable beer. Sandman2222 (34), Florida, USA Jul 25, 2008 Ginger, honey, and lemon, a real nice tasting brew. Really well balanced, especially for being nearly 2 years out of date. Unfortunately out of production as it was a limited edition. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Apr 22, 2008 This was just too much for me to handle. This had an aroma of lemon balm tea, slightly like a cough syrup would have. Overspiced, and imbalanced, this is almost undrinkable. punkrkr27 (342), Clawson, Michigan, USA Feb 4, 2008 Honey and ginger aroma with some type of adjunct coming through. Flavor is strong honey up front with some lemon fading to slight ginger and more adjunct and a little lingering lemon flavor. Clear light gold pour with a small white head and some sediment. Body is thin and watery. Cryotek (206), Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA Jan 21, 2008 (thx 2 Rick) 13 month old bottle - "Muddy pale amber, brief head, lots of sediment. Light ginger aroma. Fairly sweet with rounded, oily mouthfeel. Besides the ginger and honey there is not a whole lot going on. Finishes with low bitterness and a slight ginger taste."
