rayg1 (408), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA Mar 14, 2008 The last of the seasonals I have to try from Sam Adams. Pours out a light golden hazy yellow with a finger thick white head. Very good looking beer with the haze and tight looking head. Aroma is very fruity and spicy. Apricots and light citrus round out the fruity aromas. Nutmeg, corriander, and ginger a very noticable by the nose as well. The taste is pretty good, not as nice as the smell but decent. Sweetness and spice dominate here but the wheat makes its self known as well towards the end of the sip. This beer is crisp and clean and I could session on this. Not too bad, maybe just a tad too sweet for me but still not bad at all.
borgination (78), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Sep 27, 2008 Delicious seasonal beer. One of Sams better ones. Pours a nice gold color and tastes and goes down extremely smooth. nqualls (420), Tennessee, USA Sep 18, 2008 Bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma was bland with slight spice and wheat notes. Flavor was weak with citrus, spice and wheat. smjohnst (160), , Pennsylvania, USA Sep 8, 2008 This tasted like bath water in my opinion. No belgian spice kind of flavor to it at all. It was just horribly bland. bsm80 (104), Massapequa, New York, USA Sep 7, 2008 Not being a fan of Belgian whites, it’s hard to be objective; it is what it says it is, complexly spicy, sweet, light, not my cup possumjc (80), Charleston -Mt Pleasant, South Carolina, USA Sep 5, 2008 12 oz bottle.
