ThaBobfather (130), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 11, 2008 I really liked this seasonal. It’s smell and golden bubbly appearance are intriguing. It’s spicy wheat Wit taste is complex. Not overpowering but definately not something I could drink more than one or two of at a time. Good though.
Beerman6686 (628), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 5, 2008 Pours a cloudy yellow color with an off white head. Aroma is pretty bland, mainly wheaty, not too much in the area of spices of fruits. Flavor was much the same, very bland and more like an american wheat than a belgian white. bpar73 (11), Bellaire, Michigan, USA Jul 31, 2008 Dry spicy taste. Nice golden color but tolerable in a variety pack butj ust not one of my favorites from Sam jkwalking05 (171), Arlington, Texas, USA Jul 26, 2008 Pale gold color and hazy with a small white head. Aroma is of citrus, spices, and a light yeastiness. Flavors are the same but are much more subdued than the aromas. High carbonation. tomer (162), Israel Jul 13, 2008 0.33L bottle, small head that disolves quite quickly, deep yellow colour with some orange taints. Malty aroma at first that develops to orange and mandarine and than some mushroom and earthy notes. the taste is very dry with a strong orangy presence acompanied by a scented earl grey tea presence. the earl grey scent is dominant in a relativly short sweet and sour finish. There is something a little "belgian" in character about this beer but the alcohol presence and the body are quite light compared to a belgian wit. Joakgust (61), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 2, 2008 Tap OT, Stockholm - unclear goldish color with a disappearing head. Aroma is rather malty with notes of yeast and spices. Flavor is rather malty, with hints of wheat and some oranges. An ok Witbier.
