COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, & orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complimented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew thatís perfect for the season.

I normally really like Sam Adams beers. Boston lager is a year round regular for me and I also always get some winter lager every season. This beer, however, I didnít like. Not much of spices with almost a potato taste on the back. Maybe itís just a style I donít like but not for me.

Unclear. Light orange, yellow. Strong white head. Holiday spices - not overdone. Wheat. Citrus. Creamy. Pretty sweet. Not bad.

Pours hazy pale gold with a short, short-lived white head, no lacing. (3/5) Nose is muted wheat, nutmeg, cinnamon, orange peel. (5/10) Taste is moderate sweet and mild bitter. (5/10) Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, bitter orange peel finish. (3/5) Oh, look, a witbier for people who donít like witbiers and/or canít spell witbier. Pretty bland, although there is a little bit of a lingering orange peel bitterness thatís not bad, and the moderately high ABV is fairly well integrated. Itíd do in a pinch. (12/20)

Golden straw color poured from a bottle, not much of an aroma, tastes similar to moat Belgian Whites, cardamom and spices, but more forward with ginger and some cinnamon. Not my favorite type of beer, but drinkable.

Nice white ale with not so subtle hints of spice. Clearly a beer for the masses, this beer does nothing extraordinary, but it is quite drinkable with a large holiday meal.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden with almost no head at all. Aroma and taste of slight spice and malts.

Poured a slightly hazy orange/yellow color with a frothy white head that stayed. Aroma has lots of coriander with a touch of banana. Maybe a bit of clove and nutmeg too. Taste is very creamy with oranges and wheat. Finish has lots of spice like cinnamon and nutmeg. A little bit of a cardboard flavor, and not enough carbonation. Overall itís a nice creamy flavorful beer.

Bottle - Pours a slightly hazy light yellow. Wheat beer aroma. Starts like a wheat beer then a too sweet taste. Not so good.

Hazed light orange/gold , somewhat bubbly. Short but creamy froth. Soapy spice aroma, orange and nutmeg. Would have guessed ginger and lemon and not cinnamon though. Wheat malt.Tartness and citrus comes out as it warms. Good beer not big on the spices, although they were not overwhelmingly spiced, thatís a plus. Good malt.

Gold pour. Lasting foamy white head. Grain and cinnamon on the nose. Itís sweet with notes of grain, cherry, sugar plum, and spice. Really smooth carbonation.
