2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
pours a pale yellow with thin white head. aromas of spice and alcohol. initial flavour is typical wit of subtle orange peel, but cloves are quite prominent. AS it warms up, the alcohol taste seems to strengthen and almost overpowers other flavours. As a big Sam Adams fan, I was a little disappointed with this one. It’s not bad for a "light" winter beer, but there are far better choices.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 5/6/14
Aroma: The aroma of this one is full of wheat, lemon, and lots of spice
Appearance: The pour is a murky gold-orange, with a fizzy off-white head and drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same, lots of spice and lemon over wheat malt flavors
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a lively-to-fizzy carbonation, and a spicy finish
Somehow I waited until May to pull this from the fridge. I wasn’t overly impressed by this beer. There’s too much carbonation and too much spice for it to be particularly drinkable, and the flavors are only alright.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden colour with a very slight cloudiness and small lacy head. Warm flavour of cinnamon and nutmeg but not overpowering. Still has the taste of a wheat beer even with the spicing. (K)

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
bottle - this brew has a spicy, citrus aroma. It tastes very sweet with nutmeg and a hint of orange apparent. It’s medium bodied with a sweet, spicy finish. While okay, I thought it would be better with the sweetness toned down some.

Nice and iteresting to drink. Very smooth and soft, not too sweet and nice cloudy features there.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: MAR 21, 2014 Got as part of the Christmas season variety pack. I usually enjoy this style, but something about this is funky. Not sure if it is the cinnamon or nutmeg, but something kinda ruins this beer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: Pours a golden-orange color, translucent, and topped with a finger of creamy beige head. Nice amount of spice in the nose, but a little too much orange peel in the taste. More spice presence that I can qualify as sessionable. OK.

Hazy gold with thin head. Aroma of orange and spices. Smooth and easy drinking. Not bad, but nothing special.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poor interpretation of the style. Fake candy-like spice and aroma. Pours a yellowish straw color into the pint glass. Large white head that last for awhile. Aroma of lemon and orange with Christmas spices. Taste is bready malts with citrus zest and overwhelming amount of spices. Finish is acerbic and medicinal, fat malt on the tongue, not great.
