As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, & orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complimented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew that’s perfect for the season.

Bottled. Terrible beer. Nothing like a wit at all, some light haze, but none of the customary flavors or aromas. Some adjunct malt sweetness. Just awful.

I didn’t realize this was considered a Wit beer until I talked with my beer buddy Cheap. I assumed it was a spice brew. Pours unfiltered and cloudy, aroma of spice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Clean crisp citrus taste, medium body, however, the spices overtake the taste of the beer. Overall a decent beer, finishes with a wrm spicy feel.

Not too sure if this is a real beldian white, it brewed with spices and you can taste it, probably more like a veggie spice style. Does look like a good hefe, unfiltered and all. Smell is fairly straight forward, and a little spicey. Taste fer sure is christmass spice on a hefe, rather bland impact. The spice in here ruins an otherwise good mild hefe. Yes, overall, could have dispensed with the spice, its covering up the mild intracacies of the brew.

Bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with a decent white head. The aroma was citrus and spice. More of that in the flavor along with some malt and a hint of vanilla. This wasn’t bad at all.

Bottle thanks to John. Pours cloudy straw gold with white head. Nose and taste of spiced orange peel, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, banana and light dried spice bag. Lighter bodied.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy, golden-straw color, with a large, frothy, white head. Strong aromas of orange and cinnamon. Taste is fairly sweet and reminds me of a cinnamon roll with orange icing. It has a medium-body, with a creamy texture and lively carbonation. Finish is long and sweet. Not a bad beer, but there are plenty of other Samuel Adams brews that I would choose over this one. Still, it does make for a nice change of pace.

bottle. Poured cloudy straw coloured with a dense white head. Light citrusy aroma with a vanilla hint. Mouthfeel is crisp and light with a lingering slightly dry finish. Taste of wheat grains and pumpkin pie spices.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a thick frothy white head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and citrus. Reminds me of Christmas morning. Taste is loaded with winter spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and a nice bitter citrus rind. Light bodied. Good carbonation. My favorite Sam Adams thus far.
