As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, & orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complimented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew that’s perfect for the season.

Light amber colored beer with a thin, white head. Aromas of coriander peel and cinnamon. Tastes of cinnamon, some caramel, and some citrus zest. Also had an artificial nutmeg flavor that I do not care much for. Sweet, citrus finish. Light bodied, easy to drink, but not very memorable.

12oz bottle. This is a pretty good seasonal brew. It’s slightly spiced in flavor. You can really taste the nutmeg which I really enjoy as it is one of my favorite flavors. Also a slightly citrus finish.

Pours golden with a nice frothy head that lingers and laces well. Nose is of spice, mostly nutmeg. Light body with good carbonation. The taste is subtle, but of spice, with it being more nutmeg than anything else. Finishes cleanly with a slight spiciness that lingers. A solid non-complex beer, but not outstanding. It needs more flavor, be it from more spice or dark malt.

Very plain smell - just a hint of spices. Cloudy appearance to show it’s unfiltered. Flavor is mostly spice as well. Would not guess it as being a wit on smell and taste alone - seems more like a generic spice beer. Where’s the orange peel, citrus, and wheat they talk about on the label? Drinkable, but not very memorable at all, and not even stylistically fitting.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow color with a thin white head. Wheat, orange, coriander and spice aroma and flavors. Light body and an orange tart finish.

Still not my favorite style of beer, but this offering isn’t all that bad of a witbier. Sam Adams’ White Christmas poured a cloudy dark straw color with a fluffy and nicely lacing white head. The nose featured some banana, clove, wheat and grass. The mouthfeel and body was fairly smooth and velvety. I tasted some banana, light clove and a hint of nutmeg in the flavors. There was mostly wheat and dry yeast in the finish, along with some smooth fruity flavors.

Hazy gold colored pour. Small white head. Some lacing. Spices in the nose. Taste is a sweet spicy beer taste. Not much else. Sweet on the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Witbier? Eh. Pours golden with off white head. Weird grass and cinnamon aroma. Orange peel lemon nutmeg taste. Light body medium carbonation. Its OK.

P: Cloudy piss yellow with a thin white bubbly head. No retention and minimal wet lacing. S: Sparkling apple cider, wheat, nutmeg, cinnamon candy, mandarin oranges and dry yeast. T/M: Taste follows the nose and packs a nice warming spice profile to tingle the palate. Powdery drying Belgian yeast hints of tobacco and apples. I get more apple than I get orange but its there. Spicy and citrus hops hit on the finish. O: A nice blend of yeast and spices. Not overly dramatic but a nice sessional brew to enjoy during the holidays.

From 12oz bottle to tumbler. Pour is a hazy yellow, thin white active head. Nose is intense, lots of orange peel, coriander, spices. Taste is light bodied, sweet with some sour also mixed in. Finishes very carbonated. Decent beer, just kind of simple.
