COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, & orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complimented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew that’s perfect for the season.

Bottle - small foamy head, mildly hazy medium straw color, mild cinnamon and citrus aroma and flavor - interesting mix of citrus and spice - not great but not bad

Pours a hazy straw color with a white head. The aroma is full of cinnamon and nutmeg, with a bit of wheat thrown in. The flavor is very similar. The cinnamon is what comes through the most, but there is a bit of ginger and nutmeg as well. I don’t get much wheat since the beer is dominated by the spices. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4918) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy yellow-golden color with a large creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was dryish and wheaty with touches of nutmeg and coriander. The flavor was dry and musty with notes of nutmeg, coriander and dust. Medium length nutmeg and coriander finish. Medium body. Disappointing.

Pours a hazy hay color with white head. Aroma is light tangerine citrus with some spices. Flavor is also spicy with more of a grapefruit citrus taste. Decent.

triplehopped (37) - - JAN 8, 2013
Pours a hazy gold with a small and quickly dissipating white head. Slight hints of citrus and spice in the aroma, lightly of bread. Medium to heavy sweet to taste. Light Bodied with average carbonation, oily and finishes smoothly. Overall, a light and pleasent, malty citrus beer; not bad nor great, just nice.

Lightly hazy golden with a white head. Citrus, wheat, earthy, yeast, light sweetness. A bit of tang on the back end. Not really feeling this one. Too much spice here.

Pours cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma is wheat nutmeg, cinnamon and other spices. Taste follows aroma

12oz bottle into pint glass. Pours a cloudy orange with a decent white head that disappates pretty quickly and leaves a bit of lacing that slides down into the beer. Aroma of citrus, cinnamon, nutmeg, wheat and malt. Taste is malt and citrus up front with the wheat, nutmeg and cinnamon coming in a bit in the back. Short finish of citrus and malts. Medium body, average carbonation. Not bad, but not particularly memorable either.

Pours a hazy orange color with citrus aromas, taste a little nutmeg with orange, not bad overall and that’s hard to say about a Sam Adams beer
