3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a hazy gold with a thin white head. Aroma of wheat, Belgian yeast, pineapple and orange. Taste is orange and wheat with cinnamon. Alittle too much spice.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a very hazy orange color with white creamy head that disappears slowly. Cinnamon and nutmeg is the only thing I smell. Flavors of Cinnamon and nutmeg upfront with wheat and a lightly spicy hop. It finishes just as it started with spice. Lighter body and drinks well enough. Not a bad holiday brew from SA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from bottle. Nice vanilla spice aroma. Cloudy gold, thin white head. Flavors of vanilla, pepper, hint of banana, orange peel and caramel. Slightly watery feel, but quite drinkable. Nice stuff. Could really be kick ass if it had a little more flavor.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazed golden with a chalky white edge and soft white head. Slight floral-sweet, cranberryesque aroma. A thick white with an orangey edge and noticeable spice character and that signature Sam Adams maltiness.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle
I picked up a 12 pack of Sam Adams to have some lighter styles around the house. This was my first and not a bad introduction. For a large mass produced beer it is good (especially at about $1.15 a bottle). Check it out before the season changes.
Aroma / Appearance - The golden blond base has a light warmth to it as if the sun was rising slowly. Dense but short lived bursts of foam accent the base. Herbal green tea, white pepper, and ephemeral hints of gingerbread set a wintery feel.
Flavor / Palate - Honey, melons, and lemons prepare the palate for a gingery finish. Mellow and laid back it doesnít try to be ambitious. It isnít going to sell anyone on Sam Adams but it isnít swill either.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Iím not sure Iíd consider this a witbier, as I didnít get any of the usual phenols and esters associated with that yeast, rather it seemed an ordinary wheat beer spiced with all the listed spices. The nutmeg came through the strongest, giving it an overall spice profile very similar to Anchor OSA in both aroma and flavor. Fairly solid malt/grain balance, drinkable enough and the spices werenít overdone.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a yellow color with aroma of spices and nutmeg. A distinct cinnamon taste that goes down smoothly. The mixture of orange peel adds some fruitiness that compliments the entire beer. This is one of Sam Adams best in my opinion.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured a hazy orange color with about an inch of foam that spent itself quickly. Sme decent lacing in a Samís pint. Aroma was typical wheat beer, very faint on the spices. Noted orange, nutmeg, cinnamon, maybe cardamom?, coriander. Taste was average. Nothing outstanding, but nothing bad either. Some spice notes, typical wheat beer haylike flavor, very slight bitterness. Lingered a bit on the tongue, but somewhat thin mouthfeel overall. Nice carbonation level. Wife liked it...but there are better examples of the style.
