As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, & orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complimented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew thatís perfect for the season.

12oz bottle from sampler pack. Pours hazy golden with white head. Aromas some wheat, coriander, light spices, and light citrus. Flavor of wheat, light citrus, bit of bread and some spice and coriander. Average wit. Not bad.

A good looking beer, but not outstanding. Slightly hazy. A pale yellow color... a lot like Summer Ale but a bit lighter. This is a good beer. To be honest, I prefer it to the Winter Lager. The two beers are somewhat similar, but there is far less malt in White Christmas, and itís more balanced. Theyíre both very enjoyable, but I think this should probably be Samís seasonal... Like I said, I like the balance, and the nutmeg and orange flavors I get make this good any time, in any weather. You really donít need to have a white Christmas to enjoy this beer. One of the better beers Iíve had from Samuel Adams, to be honest. The beginning of each sip is somewhat floral, but the finish is bready with a bit of cinnamon -- like cinnamon bread or something along those lines. Refreshing, easy to drink, and quite unique. Well done.

bottle. Hazy gold with small head. Mildly spiced wheat beer. Pleasant but not particularly noteworthy.

I didnít like this too much for a Christmas beer I thought that it was way too light.

From tasting notes. Pours cloudy orange with a small, white head. Strong spiced aroma with hints of orange, wheat, toasted malts and caramel. Overwhelming spiced flavor with notes of wheat and light citrus. Sweet, toasted malt finish with lingering spices. Way to much spice for me.

Last bottle from Sam Adams holiday variety pack thing.... Nice spicy aroma, clear cloudy gold colour. Flavour wise has a little bit too much going on for my liking. However, still an enjoyable Witbier especially for the holidays, which are long gone at this point.

12 oz. bottle poured to my 1/2 pint sampler with a hazed straw/light gold hue, frothy white head foam, and wavy cling to the abundant lacing. The aroma was ripe fruit, not really citrusy, with soft grain, light honey sweetness, spicing that was a little muddled, although nutmeg, cinnamon, & coriander were mildly noticeable, along with a light, detracting metallic hint. The flavor added moderate hop bitterness and some light astringency/tartness. Spicing was a bit more expressive, with some orange peel complementing the taste. A more lively effervescence would have projected the flavor notes better, and advanced my texture perception, which was bordering on watery. Light bodied nonetheless. I realize that this bottle was a bit past fresh, (notched on Feb.), but Iíve enjoyed many refrigerated Witbiers that have lasted longer. Spicing may have assisted the short life.

Hazy golden amber color with a good sized fizzy head that didnít last very long. light aroma is sweet citrus, wheat and coriander. Flavor is sweet and spicy with a slight doughy malt background. Medium bodied with a doughy banana bread finish. These holiday spiced beers arenít exactly my favorite but this one works better than most because the spice isnít too overwhelming.

Bottle from the 76 station in Davis, CA. Pours a hazy yellow color and smells of Christmas spice. Tasted of nutmeg and cinnamon. Just not big enough and full flavored for my taste. Nice brew though.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy light gold with a small white head. Aroma of grain, citrus, and spice. Taste is wheat, citrus, nutmeg, cinnamon, and other spices. Too many spices. Just OK.
