As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, & orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complimented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew thatís perfect for the season.

Another from the winter sampler. Wheat and yeast nose. Taste has strong sweet Orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg. A fuller body than a typical wit, itís decent.

Sampled this with a bunch of Christmas beers which was probably unfair. Pours hazy yellow with a small head. Smells like a wit with not much to say christmas. Same as the flavor. Ok wit. Not much Christmas about it though.

Had a bottle at a 2014 Christmas party. Orange, coriander, nutmeg, yeast. Pretty good seasonal.

Lots of spice and it tastes nice. Better after a few. It does the trick. Nice on a cold night ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear golden with a diminishing medium beige head, fine lacing. Aromas of biscuit, coriander, nutmeg, caramel, grass. Light body, smooth and creamy. Mildly sweet, a hint of citrus, mild bitter finish. The spice flavor is nicely subdued, but enough to keep it from being particularly quaffable. The normal witbier wheat and yeast notes are largely missing; it could pass for a golden ale.

Hazy orange. Sweet malty aroma. Malty flavor with notes of ginger, nutmeg and citrus. Sweet finish. Refreshing!

A holiday classic! Not quite as good as Southern Tier Xmas but still a very good brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Well-crafted and refreshing brew with citrusy and spicy character, albeit rather uninspired. Flavors are a bit subdued and palate is not as crisp and fresh as one would want.

I normally really like Sam Adams beers. Boston lager is a year round regular for me and I also always get some winter lager every season. This beer, however, I didnít like. Not much of spices with almost a potato taste on the back. Maybe itís just a style I donít like but not for me.
