COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, & orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complimented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew thatís perfect for the season.

This brew has the definite aroma of nutmeg, orange peel, wheat, and citrus. It is cloudy, golden in color with a thick, white head. It has a pleasant taste of orange mixed with the wheat flavoring with a burst of spices.

From a bottle. Pours hazy amber with a thick, creamy head that dissipates to a thin lacing. Aromas of malt and cinnamon with muted clove, banana and citrus. Flavors are orange, dried fruit and a whisper of cinnamon with a bready citrus finish. Itís light and slightly peppery on the palate. Very smooth and citrusy. Not enormously memorable, but not a bad ale.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with minimal head. Some orange citrus aroma with holiday spice notes as well ( cinnamon and nutmeg). A sweet wheat beer that goes down easy and the spices actually blend well with the citrus flavor. A good light seasonal.

Seems like a decent witbier, although a bit darker than most and more head than most. Winter spices are present, although Iím trying to decide if they add or detract from the style. It seems like it would be a decent enough witbier on itís own merits, so itís best to decide if you like the American winter spices or not.

12 oz bottle. Cloudy golden pour with little head. Small amount of spices behind a weak wheat flavor. Pretty bland with a high carbonation. Not great.

Cloudy pale gold. Mild clean Apple noise. Thin white head. Sweet, ginger and apple. High carbonation. Resembles a weak cider. Close to being solid, but doesnít make it.

No aroma, no head, light amber colour, not much taste astringent palate, all in all not much to it. Drinkable but not great Christmas spice but not much else.

Copper color with a foamy white head. Smells of spices, mainly nutmeg, and has a similar taste. Doesnít overdo it on the spices. I was pleasantly surprised with this one.

Clear amber. Off-white creamy head. Aroma of citrus, mild christmas spice, and wheat malt. Tastes spiced and citrusy; a little yeasty and sweet. Medium bodied and smooth and slightly dry. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange. Small white head. Aroma of citrus and spices that increases as it warms. Flavor is that of a typical wheat beer, but it had just enough body to keep it interesting. Some citrus and spice in the finish. Very pleasant. A nice easy drinker. Most of the SA seasonals are decent, but I thought this one was pretty good.
