3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a cloudy hazy yellow, hay coloured. With a good foamy head. Looks pretty nice. The smell however is off-putting, a sour yeast is all that appears. The taste is whats suprising, it doesn’t taste like It smells. An almost refreshing, light spice with a typical ale taste on the back. The spices linger long after the sip. Almost lemon and a pleasant nutty after taste. An oaken earthy undertone predominates. A thin and light beer on the palate. Overall I enjoyed it, but the spices tend to become a little heavy, I couldn’t see myself drinking to much of this. But once again as a holiday specialty beer its interesting. Not a huge standout from the holiday box but it doesn’t try to be anything special and because of this, it works.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle: pours a hazy orange with a nice white head. Aromas are sweet citrus and coriander. Taste is nice earthy... spicy bite... nutmeg. I like this... but it isn’t the best wit, or Christmas beer. What it is though... a nice twist on a couple styles that wouldn’t otherwise meet each other. Tasty.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled from BevMo. Hazy golden in color. Strong nutmeg nose. Bitter spicy flavors dominate up front. A hint of graininess, but the spice dominates.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma of orange, nutmeg, cinnamon and grain. Taste is similar to the aroma, with citrus, nutmeg, cinnamon. Has a mild bitterness and bit of lingering spice. Light body, smooth and sweet. Belgian Witbier is not very high on my list and the holiday spices to not enhance it any.

2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Light hazy orange pour with a short white head. Nose has orange cream, slight clove, cinnamon, nutmeg. Average carbonation, chalky mouthfeel like cider, slightly dry finish, dries the teeth. Taste is light and watery, flavors of sour malt, orange citrus rind, belgian yeast, metallic euro hops ever so slightly, cloves and a hint of licorice too. Flavor average and unsurprising, not a good mouthfeel either, too watery.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle. It pours a dark orange color with a tall white head. The aroma has some orange peel and light notes of baking spices. The flavor is the same. The body is a bit flabby for this style with a bit too much sweetness. The spices are well balanced though. Not a favorite, but a decent brew.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a slightly hazy orange gold. Small head. I detected some fruit and spice notes, but I expected this to be a bit more flavorful than it was. Still, not bad.

3.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This limited edition ale is a great addition to holiday beverages. It reminds me of a winter version of a pumpkin ale. It isn’t too spiced and the taste is perfect for a cool or warm day.
