As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, & orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complimented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew thatís perfect for the season.

This is just one of those beers. Most of my friends loved it. I did not like it that much. It does have a nice balance of hops and spice that I really like. What I donít like is it has a banana flavor. I just do not like banana. If it was orange (which I think would work really well with this beer) it would be great. You should try this beer because lots of people like it.

High carbonation with overwhelming spices. The spice to hop ratio is off leaving this a weird brew.

bottle @ Jungle Jims / Eastgate OH --- Hazy medium orange amber color, white head cover, swirls of lace. Aroma of malt and light nutmeg. Taste is nothing more than a lighter colored version of a pumpkin ale. Spice is there, along with more sense of pumpkin than malt. A little watery; not satisfying.

355ml bottle. Hazed golden pour. Large head. Nutmeg aroma, Flavor is nutmeg, just a pumpkin beer gone witbier.

Very disappointed in the flavor of this beer. It could best be described as sour. No hints of cinnamon or nutmeg at all. Finishes with a very skunky taste.

Pours a hazy, dark golden yellow color with lighter banana yellow hues and a one finger, frothy white head that quickly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Minimal spotty lacing left behind. Zesty autumnal spice aroma with sweet citrus, malted wheat and a strong bread/yeast presence. Smells more like a fall beer than a winter/Christmas ale. Reminds me of a pumpkin wheat beer with lots of cinnamon, allspice and ginger followed by bread, banana, clove, cider and orange peel. Interesting approach to the style but not very inviting. On the fuller end of medium body with a peppery spice presence that lingers over the yeast and sweet citrus notes into a slightly dry finish. Prominent zesty spice up front with clove, cinnamon, ginger, allspice and nutmeg followed by strong bread/yeast flavor, sweet citrus rind, banana, bubblegum, apple cider and subtle pumpkin. Tastes appropriate for the season but itís slightly watered down and the flavors donít mesh very well. Kind of bland except for being heavily spice and having strong wheat/bread flavor. Even the spice blend feels a bit generic and the orange peel is buried underneath the other notes. Okay for this time if year but not something that I would want to drink more than once.

Weak attempt at a Christmas spice beer . Shabby and boring . I could drink all 12 and I would worry about calories. That's all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Found at Famous Wines in August, notched "Best By April." Spicy nose of the usual holiday/pumpkin pie beer. Cloudy gold color under a foamy head. Taste has mostly, yes, cinnamon and nutmeg, like the usual pie spice beer. Malt is starting to pick up some phenol. Attempts to create a holiday Wassail character, but again, it seems more like just another pumpkin pie spice beer. At least itís not too sweet. Most beers Iíve let sit just a few months past their date hold up better than this.

12oz bottle from Holiday Pack. Golden hue, murky clarity with mostly diminishing white fizzy head. No lacing. Aroma of all spice, honey and nutmeg. Floral and citrus taste up front with more of a lemon and spice finish. Dry texture.

Tan head on the pour that mostly diminishes, pale yellow body, fizzy, lots of carbonation and glass lacing. Aroma of wheat, citrus, oranges, hint of spices. Flavor is similar to the aroma, just a bit spicier. Thin and watery on the finish. Video review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngdggJTkN_4
