UPDATED: JAN 20, 2013 12oz bottle to hoegaarden tumbler. Pours cloudy gold with a white foamy head. Doesnt look very carbonated. Nose is cinnamon spices, with a light hint of nutmeg (just a bad combination in my opinion, with the orange peel and wheat). Has an egg nog creamy like taste and texture on the palate with some fizzing. It is sweet > bitter. Overall it is something different, which i like, but im personally not a fan. But no off flavors or anything wrong with the beer itself.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a medium sized head that slowly dissipates, leaving a bit of lacing. Smell is of bready malts, holiday spices, some citrus, and some additional dark fruits. Taste is a nice combination of the aroma, very smooth in the mouth. Nice medium body, easy drinking, but flavorful. Overall, a solid witbier, a nice lighter winter seasonal.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a decent hazy to cloudy white/off white tinged with a guiding hazy yellow note. There was a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. The smell had some light citrus with some light cinnamon, nutmeg and orange peel. The taste took those flavors and combined them and then added a fairly noticeable wheaty kick at the end. On the palate, this one sat pretty light on the body with a fair good sessionable aspect to it. The carbonation was good for a witbier. Overall, good holiday spiced witbier worthy of having again.

12 ounce bottle, best before March 2014. Oh well, better late than never! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a hazy golden/amber color with a half inch off-white head that stayed around for a good amount of time. Thereís a small amount of lacing. The brew smells like nutmeg, cinnamon, clove and some orange and orange peel. It tastes pretty much just like the aroma, but with the addition of some wheat/bready malt. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís a bit coating with moderate carbonation. Not a bad brew, but I wish I would have been able to try this when it was fresher. Hopefully Iíll be able to this upcoming winter!

Pours a slightly cloudy orangeish color with white head. Spice, cinnamon, clove, and citrus fruits on the nose; follows onto the palate. Pretty simple, yet straight forward for a witbier.

pours a pale yellow with thin white head. aromas of spice and alcohol. initial flavour is typical wit of subtle orange peel, but cloves are quite prominent. AS it warms up, the alcohol taste seems to strengthen and almost overpowers other flavours. As a big Sam Adams fan, I was a little disappointed with this one. Itís not bad for a "light" winter beer, but there are far better choices.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 5/6/14

Aroma: The aroma of this one is full of wheat, lemon, and lots of spice
Appearance: The pour is a murky gold-orange, with a fizzy off-white head and drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same, lots of spice and lemon over wheat malt flavors
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a lively-to-fizzy carbonation, and a spicy finish
Overall Impression: Somehow I waited until May to pull this from the fridge. I wasnít overly impressed by this beer. Thereís too much carbonation and too much spice for it to be particularly drinkable, and the flavors are only alright.

Golden colour with a very slight cloudiness and small lacy head. Warm flavour of cinnamon and nutmeg but not overpowering. Still has the taste of a wheat beer even with the spicing. (K)

bottle - this brew has a spicy, citrus aroma. It tastes very sweet with nutmeg and a hint of orange apparent. Itís medium bodied with a sweet, spicy finish. While okay, I thought it would be better with the sweetness toned down some.

Nice and iteresting to drink. Very smooth and soft, not too sweet and nice cloudy features there.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2014 Got as part of the Christmas season variety pack. I usually enjoy this style, but something about this is funky. Not sure if it is the cinnamon or nutmeg, but something kinda ruins this beer.
