Yay, first rating! 12 ounce bottle from a Kroger. Winter sampler. Pours a lightly hazy orange color with a thin tan head that quickly fades. Aroma of pale wheat, huge nutmeg notes with some cinnamon and citrus. The taste is wheat, citrus, nutmeg, faint hops. Medium bodied. Maybe a tad bit overspiced, but a solid beer. Eggnoggy almost.

Slightly hazy golden color with a medium foamy white head that evaporates steadily Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Citrus, wheat and spice in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of citrusy wheat, cinnamon and biscuit malt. The finish is sweet with a mildly spiced aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

Bottle. Nutmeg, cinnamon and orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large white head. Strong nutmeg flavor dominates with wheat malt, light cinnamon/clove. Bitter orange peel finish. Not bad - extra spicy.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Supermarket in Fort Collins. Pours a cloudy golden orange appearance with a white head. Very spicy, nutmeg, huge orange peel, a bit yeasty, a bit herbal aroma. Chewy, big orange peel, zesty cinnamon, nutmeg bready, citrusy flavor. A lot seems to be overdone in this beer but overall, itís not that hard to drink.

"I dig the spices used here for a holiday ale, but question the use of them in a witbier. Especially the nutmeg seems to beg for a bigger more robust base beer. I donít dislike it, but itís a definite step down from the coffee stout itís replaced."

DocLock (9876) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Bottle from Caponeís. Pours turbid straw colored toward orange with 1-finger frothy white head. Nose is spicy orange zest, coriander, hopcitrus, Tastes semi-sweet, with upfront notes of orange zest, malt, and then a spice medley kicks in, with the coriander and x-mas spices hitting the tongue. This one is unique, although not terribly complex.
