3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle - $1.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a solidly hazed, pale gold body with a thin, short-lived, white head.
Smell: Not just some pilsner and wheat malt, but also some pale malt in the mix. Thereís no second guessing the spicing, you get the cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange peel.
Taste: Very light pale malt, the malted wheat and some pils with a soft breadiness and fair sweetness. The first few sips had me taken aback at the cinnamon and nutmeg spicing, but, eventually the tongue adjusted and it all kind of melded together, letting the citrus from the hops and added orange peel come forward a bit more. Finishes up a little sweet, a little spicy, and a little citrusy.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation. Feels fairly full for a witbier.
Overall: I think would take it over the ole Samuel Adams White Ale. Speaking of, is this its replacement? Gee, man, thatís gotta be rough, being laid off on the holidays. Poor White Ale. Thanks, Obama!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy pale gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head with good retention recedes to coat surface leaving no lacing. Cinnamon and sweet citrus aromas. Dry with sweet yeast and caramel upfront turning to cinnamon and nutmeg in the lasting earthy bitter finish.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Unfiltered yellow-tan body with a thin, white head. Cinnamon dominate overspiced aroma. Wow, this is 100% overspiced, reminds me of some of the more awkward US saisons from a few years back. Whereas a good Wit is subltle and delicate, this is heavy-handed and brutal. Lacks any semblance of balance...the spices kill it. Try again.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma is unimpressive with adjunct malt, dish water, and a hint of spice and yeast. The appearance is hazy gold with an average head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall not bad and certainly drinkable but feels like just another macro.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Happy Kwanzaa. 12oz bottle, 2012 Winter Classics Variety mixed 12pk. Pours cloudy golden yellow, white fizz. Aroma of a heavily spiced Wit. Smells of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, coriander, wheat malt. Loads of winter baking spice in the nose. Creamy, thick textured. Tastes thin. Flavors of pale wheat malt, some nutmeg, clove. Not what I had expected. Aptly named. (3562)

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not too sure if this is a real beldian white, it brewed with spices and you can taste it, probably more like a veggie spice style. Does look like a good hefe, unfiltered and all. Smell is fairly straight forward, and a little spicey. Taste fer sure is christmass spice on a hefe, rather bland impact. The spice in here ruins an otherwise good mild hefe. Yes, overall, could have dispensed with the spice, its covering up the mild intracacies of the brew.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from SAMs. Cloudy yellow orange with foamy webby white head and lace. Nose is fairly dry and lightly spicy, some orange peel, light lemon. Flavor shows some cereal like malty flavors upfront, with light spice and a citrusy slick finish. Solid from Sammy.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Looks like I liked this more than most. Pours cloudy yellow / orange with a large soapy off-white head. The aroma has lots of spiciness (cinnamon jumps out most), orange peel, smooth wheat, powder and an overall dryness. Medium smooth body with fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts with a gentle spice blend (lots present, but itís not harsh) balance by rich smooth wheat. The finish has light plasticy taste, but not too big. Large amount of nutmeg and cinnamon that lingers. Nice unique holiday beer.
