As crisp as the first snowfall of the year, this unfiltered white ale is blended with holiday spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, & orange peel. The familiar citrus and wheat characters of the ale are complimented by the warmth of the spices for a festive brew thatís perfect for the season.

Clear amber. Off-white creamy head. Aroma of citrus, mild christmas spice, and wheat malt. Tastes spiced and citrusy; a little yeasty and sweet. Medium bodied and smooth and slightly dry. Not bad.

Donít remember all the details as I drank this a few weeks ago. Very creamy in the mouth with a spicy flavor and aroma. I remember it being good.

Hazed light orange/gold , somewhat bubbly. Short but creamy froth. Soapy spice aroma, orange and nutmeg. Would have guessed ginger and lemon and not cinnamon though. Wheat malt.Tartness and citrus comes out as it warms. Good beer not big on the spices, although they were not overwhelmingly spiced, thatís a plus. Good malt.

A holiday classic! Not quite as good as Southern Tier Xmas but still a very good brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had a bottle at a 2014 Christmas party. Orange, coriander, nutmeg, yeast. Pretty good seasonal.

Slightly hazy medium gold with a thin white head. A bit of wheat malt in the aroma with some light spices. Spices come out a bit on the sip along with a very light lemony flavor. Good wheat and malt mix and the wheat gives it a nice body. Finishes slightly sweet in a bit watery. Nice winter / Christmas ale.

Bottle thanks to my friend Mourty: Poured a hazy yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma is full of spices such as cinnamon and coriander. Taste reminds me of ginger bread cookies with loads of very balancing spices. Seemed very festive.

Two fingers of head, held well. Cloudy, medium straw colored body. Smell a lot of spices: cinnamon, nutmeg and some citrus, but I canít place it. It smells festive. Taste like orange and the above spices. The mildest of bitterness at the end. Soft texture, surprising but nice. Medium body, low carbonation. Almost like sipping on a cloud. Really not bad. Not my favorite style, but this one is put together well.

Aroma of cinnamon, citrus, wheat and bananas. The cinnamon is really pleasant and contiguous. Color is a cloudy yellow, with white head and minimal lace. Taste of nutmeg and cinnamon, wheat. Didnít get any citrus on the tongue except maybe at the very end. Light body and carbonation. A different wit but I think they pulled it off in the end. Good seasonal wit.

12 ounce bottle - $1.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a solidly hazed, pale gold body with a thin, short-lived, white head.

Smell: Not just some pilsner and wheat malt, but also some pale malt in the mix. Thereís no second guessing the spicing, you get the cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange peel.

Taste: Very light pale malt, the malted wheat and some pils with a soft breadiness and fair sweetness. The first few sips had me taken aback at the cinnamon and nutmeg spicing, but, eventually the tongue adjusted and it all kind of melded together, letting the citrus from the hops and added orange peel come forward a bit more. Finishes up a little sweet, a little spicy, and a little citrusy.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation. Feels fairly full for a witbier.

Overall: I think would take it over the ole Samuel Adams White Ale. Speaking of, is this its replacement? Gee, man, thatís gotta be rough, being laid off on the holidays. Poor White Ale. Thanks, Obama!
