12 ounce bottle - $1.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a solidly hazed, pale gold body with a thin, short-lived, white head.

Smell: Not just some pilsner and wheat malt, but also some pale malt in the mix. Thereís no second guessing the spicing, you get the cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange peel.

Taste: Very light pale malt, the malted wheat and some pils with a soft breadiness and fair sweetness. The first few sips had me taken aback at the cinnamon and nutmeg spicing, but, eventually the tongue adjusted and it all kind of melded together, letting the citrus from the hops and added orange peel come forward a bit more. Finishes up a little sweet, a little spicy, and a little citrusy.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation. Feels fairly full for a witbier.

Overall: I think would take it over the ole Samuel Adams White Ale. Speaking of, is this its replacement? Gee, man, thatís gotta be rough, being laid off on the holidays. Poor White Ale. Thanks, Obama!

Bottle as part of a sampler pack at my parents house. Poured a simple yellow/gold. Nice spicy taste to it. No real hop character or super maltiness in it. Lots of spice, easy to drink. Decent overall.

Bottle. Hazy orange yellow, medium white head, nice lacing. Aroma is wheat, coriander. Flavor is about the same, plus other spices. Nutmeg? Medium sweet with a bit of lemon zest bitterness. Medium body. Not bad. Not sure why it its getting so hammered here.

Lightly tasting wit that doesnt have much yeast character. A little orange and clove spice makes it ok but not great.

Bottled. A very hazy apricot-color with pink hues. Bright white head is small and mostly diminishing. Orange peel aroma with some quick black pepper spice notes atop mellow nutmeg, crisp wheat, apricot preserves and vanilla cookies. Medium-sweet with some light bitter undertones, particularly in the finish. Moderately carbonated with a medium body and a creamy mouthfeel. Overall, the "winter" spices used approach "blink and youíll miss" territory so Iím not sure how well this works as a special winter offering, but this is solid nonetheless.

This being a Christmas beer I figured it would be darker but it poured a hazy light yellowish hue. Smell was bitter and slightly spicy. Tastes light with hints of holiday spices. Good addition to three seasonal sampler.

12-oz bottle. Pours a very dense and hazy dark gold color. Slight, fading fine-bubble white head. Spicy aroma of nutmeg. Medium body with effervescent mouth-feel. Slight citrusy character matched with dry nutmeg notes. Overall, wheaty, well-carbonated with supporting spice and zesty notes. OKAY.

I thought that the idea of this beer was very clever, but it didnít come out all that well. This is your typical Belgian Wit, but watered down. The spice profile (cinnamon instead of corriander) works out great, but the body of the beer leaves much to be desired. Not at rich as the style usually is.
