Belgian style white ales have a long history of unique ingredients, as brewers experimented with spices discovered during the spice trade. For our hazy brew we found a refreshing combination of crisp wheat, the tangy sweetness of tangerine & orange peel, and the subtle spiciness of coriander & grains of paradise. Cheers!

Dark gold, some haze, quite surprisingly very little head. Aroma is spritzy coriander and spice with a pleasant hit of orange citrus. Flavor starts off grainy, then hints at citrus, before moving into a moderate leaning towards heavy coriander and peppery finish. Rather full bodied actually. Missed the note on refreshing, but not bad.

Poured into a shaker. Hazy orange color with a cream colored head. Aroma is wheat and light yeasty notes. Flavor is wheat and tangerine. The tangerine adds a nice fruity note without being overwhelming or artificial. Light bodied with crisp carbonation. Overall a pretty good witbier.

Also part of the spring sampler, this Belgian white is a good beer. It is true to style with the orange and coriander flavors and has a crispness to it. It has a pretty good color and big head typical of these beers.it is a very solid beer and worth trying.

12 oz bottle. Pours a light golden grain color with a thin white ring. Aroma of burnt grains, sweet cereal malts, coriander, and hints of orange. The orange is very subtle on the palate. Mostly taste the sweet cereal and grains. A bit of a burnt tinge to it. A slight spice in the finish. Pretty boring.

355 ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with nice head that lingered. Aroma is fruit with sweet orange, spices and a little lemon. Taste followed and added a little yeast and more sweetness. Palate was a little rough.

From a bottle smells a little soapy. Taste is spiced white beer, but not over the top. Not bad I guess. Yes, a little more spicey than yer typical white beer. Finish has a tad of that mild ale bitteness on the back of the throat.

Bottle. Nose is mostly citrus, but there’s an odd and discordant floral undertone -- almost like roses? Pours hazy gold with a high, lacy white head. Round and sweet on the front of the palate, but I’m still getting that weird rosy thing; it reminds me of scented toilet paper, for gods’ sake. Please don’t squeeze the witbier? Finishes long and that floral note hangs around and makes itself comfortable. Can’t get into this one.

Answer to blue moon, took them long enough. It is less offensive than blue moon, actually not a bad take on the style, but it is completely unimaginative.

Yellowish-Orange hazy color with 1-finger head. I dig the orange and tangerine peel flavor. Oily mouth feel. Coriander in the nose with orange rind.

Bottle. Whiter colored pour with a white head on it. Nose is spicy with plenty of orange and coriander. Taste is sweet and smooth, easy drinking, crisp, no real hop presence, but still very good and easy to drink.
