4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
bottle. lightly hazy glowing gold under a medium, fluffy, fizzy white head. easy citrus with a meringue aroma. flavor is also merinque like with hints of vanilla and graininess. soft carbonation level gives the beer a full body and easily drinkable texture. this is good stuff. one of the best belgian whites to come around for a long time.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
From the Spring 2013 sampler pack. The body is a hazy deep amber orange with a bright white head. The nose has some nice bright oranges. There is is also a hint of clove and raw dough. The body is highly carbonated with a chewy feeling. This tastes like raw dough with an orange hint at the finish. There is also a hint of clove spice and tobacco in the finish. The aftertaste is just orange peel and gross abc gum.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle from the spring variety pack. Pours hazy gold with a medium collapsing off-white head. Aroma is full of coriander and orange (tangerine?) peel; an offnote of metal. Taste is lightly sweet and finishes dry; spicy, wheaty and citrusy. Nice witbier; no real deviations from other straightforward examples.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Canals. Not a bad brew. Slightly thin in body, but some nice notes of floral, wheat and coriander.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Free sample at the supermarket. Hazy yellow-orange pour with white head. Aroma was citrus, malty and spice. Taste was the same. A decent beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle. Very similar to all the other seasonal witbiers from SA in the past… It pours a nice semi clear golden color with a shrinking white head. The aroma jumps out with ginger, tangerine, orange peel and wheat. The flavor has more tangerine, wheat and citrus peel, but too heavy and sweet to be really exciting. Not a bad beer by any means, but it needs to be dryer and lighter to showcase the subtleties.

Fruity aroma. Very similar to blue moon. Goes down smooth. Had at A6P tasting.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Basically, a better version of Blue Moon. Small head fades quickly with little residual lacing. Crisp and wheaty mouthfeel. Citrus is more prominent than spice, which actually makes it pretty refreshing. Solid, but not great.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden with long lasting, foamy white head. Aroma is of lemon zest, wheat malt and spices. Body is medium and crisp. A lot of spices, citrus fruit and wheat malt fill the mouth. Finish is medium and spicy. One of the better Wits IMO.
