3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle; poured a dark gold color with an average white head. Aroma of spice/coriander, wheat, and orange. A fairly vibrant aroma. Flavor was pretty good too. Some nice spice and orange, with some vanilla in the finish. Enjoyed this one.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
The new beer of the spring pack I was most impressed with seems to be the exception. A nice light flavor that isn’t too wheaty at all. Far superior to a Blue Moon, it’s quite smooth. Would definitely drink another.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Love the subtle coriander aroma. Milky gold color. Leaves a thin head. Tangy peppery spice taste. A touch of sourness in the finish. Quite enjoyable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle, best by July 2013, part of the Spring Thaw Variety Pack--$15.99ish at Vons. Hazy golden with a small white head, fair retention. Perfumey nose with some floral and orange notes dominating, crisp wheat and coriander behind. Flavor keeps up with the perfumey floral thing, still has the wheat and orange, but not really much else. Minimal sweetness, low bitterness, dry finish. Medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Actually, a little too perfumey for me, seems to mask the yeast notes.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle- Pours hazy light orange with a white head that reduces to a collar. Aroma is coriander, orange peel, wheat, all the trademarks of the style, moderately spicy, almost like pepper. Taste is full and creamy, wheat, coriander and orange are all there, very tasty, no off notes. Body is medium, carbonation is high. Very good!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy gold pour with a thin, bright white head. Aroma of citrus peels coriander, and doughy, fruity yeast. Some earthy sweet bread spices and odd mollusk salinity sneak in there as well. Flavor of dried citrus and floral potpouri, coriander, dishwater, more mollusk-like salinity, doughey yeast and toast. Light and fairly dry palate with a light, but sharp carbonation and only slight (very slight for a Wit, but this does appear to be more filtered than most) chalkiness to the finish. Pretty average Wit, with what seems to be a pinch of salt and a little extra zing to the citrus component, for the margarita crowd, or something.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle - Pours hazy straw colored with a one finger, rapidly fading head. It smells of spices and citrus. The flavor is sweet, light, spicy, and refreshing. It’s easy to drink and enjoyable with lively carbonation and citrus notes. Good.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Is it just me? or is sam adams actually getting markedly better at their special releases? Clearish golden pour with decent ring of white head. Nose is a little muddled, mainly orange peel. Flavor is more of a blend of coriander, and orange, and even a little banana hint. Spiciness is hiding in the background. Very smooth and big chewy creamy body. I’d pick this over a blue moon, but not over an authentic belgian witbeir. tasty though.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
It pours a hazy golden orange into my nonic. Foamy, clingy lacing spider webs around the glass. A thick one inch white foamy head appears and lasts a good minute. Some slowly moving carbonation is seen rising. The smell is soap, orange, and lemon coming through in a spicy way. Hops are there but very subdued. No yeast is smelled. The taste takes the citrusy smells and adds a bit of a subdued wheat flavoring. No yeast is tasted. The mouthfeel is medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. It has a watery aftertaste and finish. This is very sessionable. Overall, a bit different for a real witbier ("where’s the yeast?), but I liked it for me. I’d have it again.
