COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian style white ales have a long history of unique ingredients, as brewers experimented with spices discovered during the spice trade. For our hazy brew we found a refreshing combination of crisp wheat, the tangy sweetness of tangerine & orange peel, and the subtle spiciness of coriander & grains of paradise. Cheers!

12 oz bottle from 2013 spring mixer, Kroger, W. Bridge, Dublin. Hazy orange with a frothy white head. Aroma orange, spicy, yeasty, bread, wheat. Same deal for flavor. Medium-thin body. Nothing offensive here but on the weak side.

bottled from summer variety case - pretty good concoction. Has a nice, refreshing, summery taste. An interesting mix of spices - goes good with a buffalo chicken cheesesteak (I know because I just had 1)!

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a Shock Top Wietbier glass. The color is a hazy/cloudy yellow with a tint of orange and three fingers of foamy white head that left a slight of lacing on the glass. The smell is pretty tangy with a big orange and tangerine aroma. There is a slight lemongrass aroma there as well that adds to the spicy citrus twang. The taste has more of a wheat presence then the aroma. The bready flavor is the big factor here with some tangerine or orange rind toward the back. There is a slight bitterness in the back but does not impart much to the flavor. The feel of this beer is light bodied and goes down pretty easy. There is a nice slight crisp feel and is nice and smooth going down.

10th July 2014 bottle from a mixed Samuel Adams pack my son-in-law bought because I like ’different beers’. It was hot and I wanted something to cool me down, this did so without testing my taste buds too greatly. Misty yellow body with a full white head. Subdued aroma and flavours of the usual ’Witbier’ style, orangey, wheaty and spicy. This was OK, but it is not my sort of brew and although I have tried a few over the years I struggle to really enjoy them: scored objectively.

Pours a pale yellow with a persistent white head. Fairly thin mouthfeel with some lemon and orange notes.

Single from total wine. Lemon little bit of spice and wheat. More on the pepper side of the equation. A little quick on the finish. Many better whites put there.

Watery malted wheat with weak citrus and predominantly lemon notes. Muddy mouth feel. Low carb. Medium bitter finish, sweet bready, yeasty wheat flavor, slight tropical fruit finish. Nothing special.

Bottle to half-pint. Looks solid; a hazy apricot with foamy eggshell head. Smells yeasty and spicy. Tastes like it smells with some pine. Fuller-bodied. Not bad, but a bit unbalanced.

Pour a pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is of wheat bread, tangerine, oranges, and coriander. Taste is similar to the aroma. Has a medium-light body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, crisp, semi dry, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice witbier that is a refreshing summer beer.

Aroma is lemon grass, citrus, banana and sweet grains. Taste is sweet grains, citrus, coriander, banana and slight bitterness that finishes smooth. Appearance is a gold hazy body with a thin bubbly head that retains fairly well.

Wit with a bit much spice and not enough beer flavor. Watery clove seltzer is about all I get. Thin body, and boring.
