COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian style white ales have a long history of unique ingredients, as brewers experimented with spices discovered during the spice trade. For our hazy brew we found a refreshing combination of crisp wheat, the tangy sweetness of tangerine & orange peel, and the subtle spiciness of coriander & grains of paradise. Cheers!

Location: 12 oz bottle from Sparrow-Downtown, 3/1/13

Aroma: The aroma is citrus/orange zest, some wheat, and plenty of coriander/spice
Appearance: It pours a hazy gold-orange color with a small off-white head and light lace
Flavor: Tastes much the same, lots of orange and other citrus with plenty of spice and some wheat
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has average-plus carbonation, and a lasting, tingly finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty solid one. It is nothing special, but it feels fairly on style, and is sessionable and enjoyable enough. It probably goes without saying, but Iíd be significantly happier to see this one on a menu then a Blue Moon.

Lemon lime and coriander nose. Hazy golden, medium head. Fizzy . Stale malt and unmalted barley flavor, wheat bread crust, lemon, coriander. Spicier and fruitier than Shock Top, maltier than Blue Moon, eerily similar quality though. I have defended Boston Beerís craft brewery status for years against those who suggest they should no longer be considered craft. Despite itís size, Boston Beer has continued to make quality beer in a variety of interesting styles. This beer, however, makes me at least consider if they havenít sold out.

Pours hazy gold with a tall, white head. Zesty orange-lemon aroma. Taste is spiced wheat, orange. Crisp, strongly fruit-sweet. Pleasant, but nothing special.

Aroma is citrus/orange, spices and fruit. The flavor is spices, citrus, wheat and a tangy/mildly tart finish. Best Sam Adams Witbier.

12 ounce bottle poured a golden color with aromas of light orange, orange peel, corriander and a touch if banana. Flavirs follow suit with a touch if spice thrown in. A nice witbeer overall, would easily drink again and again.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with medium creamy white head that lasts awhile. The aroma is orange peel and grain. Thin mouthfeel with strong citrus and light body with crisp finish. Easy to drink, very good refreshing wit.

Is it just me? or is sam adams actually getting markedly better at their special releases? Clearish golden pour with decent ring of white head. Nose is a little muddled, mainly orange peel. Flavor is more of a blend of coriander, and orange, and even a little banana hint. Spiciness is hiding in the background. Very smooth and big chewy creamy body. Iíd pick this over a blue moon, but not over an authentic belgian witbeir. tasty though.

12 oz. Hazy topaz with a large head that settles to a lasting disc. Aroma is citric acid, coriander, yeasty bread dough and crackers. Taste is way too much citrus peel for me, with some faint spicy bread showing in the aftertaste. It seems to be the tangerine peel thatís over the top. Near-medium body is balanced, with medium carbonation and finishes acidic-dry.
