COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian style white ales have a long history of unique ingredients, as brewers experimented with spices discovered during the spice trade. For our hazy brew we found a refreshing combination of crisp wheat, the tangy sweetness of tangerine & orange peel, and the subtle spiciness of coriander & grains of paradise. Cheers!

bottle. lightly hazy glowing gold under a medium, fluffy, fizzy white head. easy citrus with a meringue aroma. flavor is also merinque like with hints of vanilla and graininess. soft carbonation level gives the beer a full body and easily drinkable texture. this is good stuff. one of the best belgian whites to come around for a long time.

Is it just me? or is sam adams actually getting markedly better at their special releases? Clearish golden pour with decent ring of white head. Nose is a little muddled, mainly orange peel. Flavor is more of a blend of coriander, and orange, and even a little banana hint. Spiciness is hiding in the background. Very smooth and big chewy creamy body. Iíd pick this over a blue moon, but not over an authentic belgian witbeir. tasty though.

It appears that somebody likes this, or at least, it isnít at the bottom of the style. But although I found a few decent notes in the front end, the mid and late finish tends to hollow out. A little spice, a very slight sweetness. Somewhat drinkable but not especially enjoyable. Bottle.

Lemon lime and coriander nose. Hazy golden, medium head. Fizzy . Stale malt and unmalted barley flavor, wheat bread crust, lemon, coriander. Spicier and fruitier than Shock Top, maltier than Blue Moon, eerily similar quality though. I have defended Boston Beerís craft brewery status for years against those who suggest they should no longer be considered craft. Despite itís size, Boston Beer has continued to make quality beer in a variety of interesting styles. This beer, however, makes me at least consider if they havenít sold out.

Cloudy orange with an average sized white head. Aroma is of orange, lemon, yeast wheat. Taste is of orange tang, tangerine, wheat, coriander, oranges, with a lingering tangerine finish.

12 oz. Hazy topaz with a large head that settles to a lasting disc. Aroma is citric acid, coriander, yeasty bread dough and crackers. Taste is way too much citrus peel for me, with some faint spicy bread showing in the aftertaste. It seems to be the tangerine peel thatís over the top. Near-medium body is balanced, with medium carbonation and finishes acidic-dry.

12 ounce bottle poured a golden color with aromas of light orange, orange peel, corriander and a touch if banana. Flavirs follow suit with a touch if spice thrown in. A nice witbeer overall, would easily drink again and again.

bottle - Pours hazy straw colored with a one finger, rapidly fading head. It smells of spices and citrus. The flavor is sweet, light, spicy, and refreshing. Itís easy to drink and enjoyable with lively carbonation and citrus notes. Good.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a moderate white head. Nose is rather spicy, with the coriander really coming through. Taste is a little sweet, with spices also coming through.

Pours hazy gold with a tall, white head. Zesty orange-lemon aroma. Taste is spiced wheat, orange. Crisp, strongly fruit-sweet. Pleasant, but nothing special.
