COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sam Adams Whitewater IPA. A wheat ale brewed with apricots & spices.
This hazy brew combines the crisp character of a white ale with the intense pine and citrus flavors of an India Pale Ale. We took the unique combination to a new level with the sublet addition of apricots, which provide a slight sweetness to balance the bitterness of the hops. Cheers!

Wonderful citrus and pine aroma. Has a strong pine hop taste. Lite colored wheat style beer and very refreshing for a hop forward beer.

In airport. S Adams brew bar. Tastes like home brew hop pellets. Not very subtle either. And I home brew. Not so great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone by TheMattTucker

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2013 Pours hazy yellow orange with a large white head. Smells like wheat, hints of citrus, and a little fruity. Taste is fruity, bitter, a little grainy, and hints of subtle sweetness. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Samuel Adams Whitewater IPA finishes with a dry lingering bitterness.

A pleasant surprise at my trivia night sports bar. Aroma is full of citrusy and spicy hops. Taste shows out the apricots. Apricots seem to be a trendy add on to spring/summer beers. I like it they seem to pair well with flavors of the ones I’ve tried. I dig this one. Bright and hoppy, lightly fruity and refreshing.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice easy IPA flavor and aroma. Sweet with a good balanced malt. Easy drinking this was average at best. The fruit was there but ever so subtle.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a light copper color with a frothy white head that settles to a film. Aroma of pine and some hop spiciness. Medium body, nice balance of malt and hops with some grass and citrus notes. Slight bitter finish. Very good!

Aroma: Smelling of grape-fruit, pine, resin and grass.
Appearance: A clouded straw colored beer. A high off-white head with good lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting toffee, spicy, pine resin and grape-fruit.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a oily texture. A good body with a very dry finish.
Overall: A very piney one, at Doyle’s!
Note: On-tap at Doyle’s Cafe, Bosron. Reviewed 2013-03-30.

Whitewater IPA pours a light golden hazy with a very thin head of small bubbles. Nose is full of spruce hops. Taste is dry more pine needle and a touch of citrus. Body is fluid and slightly fizzy. Finishes just a touch bitter. a decent IPA, but lagging behind some of the better options in the category.

12 fl oz / 355mL bottle into a Sam Adams glass. Aroma: Nice balance of hops and citrus, especially sweet orange and tangerine. Appearance: Hazy, slightly dark yellow, with a thick, sudsy white head. Taste: Citrus--those nice oranges--followed by a good hop presence contrasted by some malt sweetness. A little yeast at the very very end. Palate: Full body, nice finish; persistent and sits. Overall: I think that this IPA was the first IPA I had ever had. Back then, my go-to beer was Heineken, and I had no idea how to interpret the flavors in this beer, and I was really put off. Anyway, I’m glad I got to have it again; it’s really a great one. Nice contrast, and outstanding flavors.
