COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sam Adams Whitewater IPA. A wheat ale brewed with apricots & spices.
This hazy brew combines the crisp character of a white ale with the intense pine and citrus flavors of an India Pale Ale. We took the unique combination to a new level with the sublet addition of apricots, which provide a slight sweetness to balance the bitterness of the hops. Cheers!

@ Cork’ n Bottle / Crescent Springs KY Aroma of malt and citrus. Pale Amber with a nice 1/2" white head, thin horizontal streaks of lace. Taste is malt with hay and apricot, that moves smoothly through the palate, finally allowing fairly strong hops deep in the finish. The hops appear after the swallow, making them somewhat of a revelation for the drinker. Really well done.

It looks like a wheat--plenty of lace from the long lasting head. The brew is appropriately cloudy with a dark gold color. Light wheat with a dollop of peppery hop bitterness. Leans toward the hop bitterness. There’s enough wheat for interest, but I would not qualify this that way. I also do not detect any apricot or spices. All that said, I find this to be a very easy beer to drink.

Hazy straw yellow with a reasonably thick white head. Aroma is slight pine and citrus with a touch of fresh cut grass. Flavor is mildly hoppy with a slight fruitiness and a slightly bitter finish.

Pours a yellow/orange color. Aroma of fruity hops and orange peel. Flavor follows aroma with some spicy hint and a good hop flavor and the malt profile is enhanced in the taste. Medium-thin body. Good brew.

Really nice pour - medium head that stays, good lacing. Aroma is a bit acidic with sour citrus smells. Flavor is shockingly mellow. No real bite or hoppiness that is typical of an IPA. Very clean finish. But overall it’s just blah.

Pours a hazy orange-straw into the glass, with a fluffy white head that reduces to thick, pocked lacing. The nose is of citrus and spices. Well-hopped flavors provide a nice bitterness through the citrus and peppering piney notes. Spices finish the pull, and accompany the bitterness and lively mouthfeel well. Decently put together IPA.

Hoppy and sweet, notes of citrus to balance the bitterness. Not sure about the wheat IPA mix, but not bad.

Decent IPA - good effort from Samuel Adams. Not as hoppy as I would like, but probably good enough for the general population.

Pleasantly sweet aroma of honey and melon. A dry and piney IPA, with nice green hops and a little coriander. This is one of Samuel Adams’s better IPAs, but there are other good ones besides.

Ipa ben fatta e particolare con le sue note fruttate e dolci che comunque non riescono ad avere la meglio sull’amaro intenso e penetrante, che si trascina dietro sentori agrumati caratteristici dei luppoli americani. Merita assaggiarla e riassaggiarla!
