3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A really nice effort at a White IPA. Pours a hazed golden color with a medium sized white head. Smell begins with hops, wheat, and some sweet fruit. Flavor is apricot, orange peel with some bitterness, pine and citrus. A wheat beer mixed with a white all added with some nice hop bitterness makes this a pretty solid brew.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle as part of a mixed 12 pack. Pour has a slightly hazed golden amber color with a thin covering of white head. Aroma starts with hops, light citrus, wheat, and some sweetness. Mouth feel is light and there is average carbonation. Flavor brings out a little more apricot, some bitterness, pine, dry citrus, and a long finish. There definitely is a wheat beer in here competing with the hops and the touch of apricot goes well all in all.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: deep coppers and garnet under an off-white head which fades bumpy with sticky clumps of lace clinging to the sides of my glass. Swirls clumpy.
Nose: melba toast and apple skins. A generic caramelized sweetness of caramel and toffee. Solid platform of sweet crunchy caramelized malt. Dryness in the back of straw bales.
Palate:</b. medium-light slightly mouth-coating body. Generic caramelized sweetness atop toasted bread and apple skins. Bubbly caramel finish. Generic brown spices along the edges.
Final Thoughts: certainly not the most complex or flavorful Irish Red I have savored so far, but it didnít suck either. The typical Samuel Adams house yeast character was there but only minutely in the background. A good session and a good introduction for those looking for a little something more in their beer without scaring them away.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy golden beer with a white head. Aromas of fresh fruit, and pine. Tastes of coriander, lemon zest, moderate amounts of pine hops, and a very noticeable apricot finish. A bit spicy, and not as malty as other IPAs. Extremely smooth, and refreshing. Very tasty, and well crafted.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Coriander, orange peel, thyme,, lemon grass, and even a little cat pee on the nose, good strength. Cloudy amber, medium head. Orange peel and lemongrass flavor, again nice intensity. Finishes malty and grassy. Good level of bitterness. Very good interpretation of a "white IPA" More IPA than white, like 85/15, and thatís probably a very good ratio.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I have to say, I loved this beer. One of my favorites by Sam Adams. Came in a spring variety pack.
The aroma quickly pulls you in. Itís got an IPA nose thatís packed with clean hop nose but with something added. There is an unmistakable apricot and spice (maybe coriander) that stays with you until you taste the same flavors.
Appearance is a slightly hazy yellow with a nice frothey white head. Itís a very clean and pretty brew.
Taste is where this beer really stands out. I usually donít like fruit flavored beers - with some notable exceptions. However, the apricot and wheat combined with the pine and hop forward flavors really combine well. Itís refreshing and hearty all at once.
Itís a light bodied beer and a bit sticky in itís texture. Decent carbonation throughout and the finish really draws out the pine and apricot to attack the taste buds.
Overall, not sure this is really an IPA, though itís not a "wheat" beer either. Theyíve come up with something that draws in the best of both styles and leaves you wanting more. Very drinkable and smooth. Love it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: pours a hazy yellow with large white head. Hoppy floral pine, dusty spice and a buttery caramel on the nose. Floral tart bitter grapefruit dominates initially but turns quickly into a mild apricot and caramel at the back end. Palate starts tart, bitter moving slightly toward sweet in the end. Overall, I liked it but took 2 styles I really like and made 1 ok to good beer. I would drink it again but would not go out of the way to look for this one.

Very nice offering from Sam Adams
Poured cloudy orange as you would expect from a Hef but a tad darker
Aroma was apricot and slight cityís
Head was typical Sam Adams nice thick head that hung around a bit with nice lacing Mouth freel pretty good Etta good carbonation
Foretaste was slight apricots blending in to some citrus notes finishing with some nice bitter hops
Definitely not a wimpy beer and hopheads will be satisfied
Most definitely Iíll get this again and would like to see it in tap

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. White head on a very hazy darker peach juice orange. Bit of pine and citrus and dried apricot in the aroma. Touch of pine, slight dried apricot, some grass and relatively dry. Slight pine in the finish. Medium chalky body.
