COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sam Adams Whitewater IPA. A wheat ale brewed with apricots & spices.
This hazy brew combines the crisp character of a white ale with the intense pine and citrus flavors of an India Pale Ale. We took the unique combination to a new level with the sublet addition of apricots, which provide a slight sweetness to balance the bitterness of the hops. Cheers!

pours slightly hazy yellow with a huge whiter head. the aroma is very fruity, hops, aprocots, and slight bitterness. the taste is very fruity up front with a bitter sweet initial taste and ends on a sweeter note. the taste is also of dark fruits, I slightly prefer the Mighty Oak Ale over this beer but this one is still solid.

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours hazy golden with a fluffy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, apricot, spices, and caramel malts. Flavor about the same with a nice blend of apricot and hops, but something doesn’t go well. Average texture. A decent IPA

Appearance: Pours out a well-hazed, burnished gold body with a tall, foaming, whitish head. Smell: Notes of coarse ground pepper, coriander with humble wheat and fairly easy-going notes of citrus, pine, and fancy little soaps. Taste: Crispy wheat blended with crackery, doughy pale malts as firm citrusy, spicy elements roll in from the hops and spice additions. Slight pine felt. Medium-plus bitterness. There’s a faint, faint apricot accent -- you really gotta look for it. Pinch of piquant herbs. Dry, bitterish finish with some creamy wheat hints. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: Not great but decent enough.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle is hazy orange with nice lacing white head, aroma has notes of big biscuit, pine notes, touch of grapefruit, fruity esters with apricot, peach notes, hints of lemon as well. Taste is a nice mix of sweet peach and pear, touch of grapefruit, hints of biscuit and bread, finishing with a sweet but slightly bitter finish.

Looks like a wheat, not an IPA. Smells like a wheat, not an IPA. Tastes like somebody poured a little IPA in my wheat.

12 oz single bottle from Spirits The Spot. Poured a very hazy, yet attractive, golden yellow body under a full creamy white head that has some serious lacing and lasting power. Aroma isn’t very good with notes of bad citrus meat, wet bread, bread crusts and rotting lemon. Fuller body with strong tight carbonation and some bitterness and dryness on the tailend of the aftertaste. Flavor is much like the aroma with some bad harsh citrus meat and rinds along with bread crusts and more rind. Meh nothing special here.
