3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle. Super hazy bright orange-tan with a big, foamy head. Really succeeds at what they were going for: the Wit/IPA hybrid ale. Yeasty spiced vanilla tones, as well as an orange citrus hop tone, a little lackluster in typical SA fashion. Fresh and zesty, highly sessionable. Apricot flavors are pretty steady, and come out more and more as the beer warms. I like this one.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Rite Aid: Appeared as a glowing neon yellow hue that showed evidence of a lot of floating sediment while a fluffy topping of head rested on top. Reminded of looking at a witbier. Nose is slightly spicy with a pinch of hops, coriander, and citrus fruit flesh and peel. The drink taste similar except for an additional soapy flavor. Based on the title of the beer, I would have to guess this is an attempt at a white/witbier IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pure haze. Nose is spices, wit beer, cascades, orange peel. Glavor is a little muddled citrus, and oranges and orange peel along with some medium spices. Carbonation is moderate. sweetness is through the finish. lingering bitterness. The flavor is odd but works. Aroma is good.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy but bright gold with a medium-sized white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and pine hops -- lots of Cascade or Centennial -- but also some fruity sweetness. Apricot, I guess. Flavor is surprisingly hoppy and very crisp. Thereís some underlying sweetness and a bit of maltiness. Definitely different from a standard IPA, but Iím not sure Iím picking up much white/wit character. No spiciness, for instance. Medium mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle poured into glass. Nice hop aroma with slight citrus notes, no real apricot to speak of. Has a subtle malt backing with a nice balance. Enjoyable but there last few IPAís have pretty much all been the same.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Best thing I have had from Sam in a long time...very solid IPA. Had a lot of bright citrus to it and a good body thatís very refreshing. Very well balanced. There is slight fruit to it as it says in the description. Sessionable as well.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Kroger. Pours a hazy orange amber with a retentive ivory head, nice lacing. Nice citrusy aroma. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pale toffeeish malt backbone, countered by a dry grapefruit rind bitterness. Could use more sweetness to bring out the apricot. Dry and hoppy finish, with some astringency. Not bad, way better than Latitude IPA

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 19, 2012 Bottle. This presents itself with a perplexing front -- hazy and muted yellow with a bright white pillow -- like a wheat beer. But the aroma is very much American IPA, floral citrus all the way. Then it perplexes again ... A bit gristy, mildly yeasty, spicy and then a hint of the apricot. Complex and unique, quite enjoyable. 3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 355 ml
Aroma fresh citrus sided hop aroma ,light and easy going.
Appearance hazed amber with large white top. Neat crown.
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied. Pine-spruce front followed by citrus , lime hinted with green garden freshness. Mid accented by sweet grapefruit. Softness of wheat with fruity side hinted by peach. Great blend of flavours. Sam Adams did not forget how to make true yet unique American IPA.
